… i was turned off by the wire in it. Its eventually gonna break from taking off and putting it on. Also it will come off when snagged. I make paracord bracelets but i use tactical metal clasps. I dont upload content on it tho. I just make them. I also make leads for pets and other things
@@RedBaronisacopper is pretty ductile. It can take lots of bending before it eventually breaks. The amount that you’d need to bend it to take it off/put it back on probably wouldn’t break that in our lifetime
Replacing a paracord core with dead soft (or aluminum) wire is brilliant! I have been making these for awhile but never thought to do that! Although it doesn’t make the paracord as strong if you have to unravel it-but having a bit of wire to use in a pinch is useful as well!❤
The whole point of these bracelets were you can unravel them into one or multiple strings that's very sturdy for survival situations. Seems to be more for aesthetic these days.
Y'know, more and more often, I'm not reading the titles of these as I watch. So, I was so lost as to what you were making until the very end. The realization hit and I went "Oh!" Then read the title with "...Oh"
other than for looks i cant think of a purpose, other than trying to make a hook from the copper and and use the shell to bind stuff together, like a glue.
And I don't recall why but my unit when we deployed had to each make a 550 chord bracelet. Idk if that's what it was called but we were required to have them
Apologies but perhaps I don’t understand. I thought the point of paracord was to have all the cord plus the innards that had like fishing line equivalent survival uses.
But paracord bracelets are supposed to be an emergency length of paracord. Sort of defeats the purpose if you trash the cord by inserting wire. Then it just becomes a lookalike of an actual paracord bracelet without any purpose.
I made one of these at Bivouac(a cadet corps (core) event) and I hated but loved it, the string was always too short and I eventually tossed it out when I got back
Well.. it's neat, but the core is the paracords strength, and you just tossed that away, so if needed, it's a limp sleeve now, but it looks wise it's great, guess it's good for a self defense backhand...
