Copy or Move Formulas Without Changing Cell References In Excel - 3 Methods 

3 years later, I've found this through googling how to copy a lot of cells and keep the references. So simple but effective, I love the find & replace with # and =...so often in excel we get tied up trying to overthink things.

how do we cut cell value but without changing the border layout?

what I'm looking for is to copy the cell data from one cell to another without coping the formula in that cell, when I try the whole thing copies formula and all I need the formula to stay in the one cell.
