I just want everyone to know this: Love whichever song you want. But everyone has their own preferences so *respect* eachother's choices and stop comparing. It ruins the whole purpose of the mashup so be considerate. Also, I prefer "COPYCAT" by Miss Gumi. Mostly because in it she herself is the “copycat”. She expresses self hatred and fear when singing about changes (that require her to sacrifice her identity). Perhaps some copycats copy others due to what they've been through? Maybe they grew up in a hateful environment and wish to be like others to feel complete/real. She even admits that she's being pressured by others and becomes someone else entirely, as if it weren't already awful enough. So please, never jump to conclusions when dealing with what we call "copycats". One should hear the story behind their actions first and then act accordingly. Also, in the ending we see Miss Gumi lose her face. Why? Because she succumbed to her misery and regret. In vain, she sings as she fades from reality. The song is a warning for others who might make the same mistake. So please, whoever you are and wherever you are, don't ever bring yourself down and think that being others will make you perfect. It doesn't. You are you, an original that cannot be replaced. Be safe, take care.

Copycat by Melanie is upset about someone copying their things but sort of tried to help the person stop copying. Copy cat by Billie has more anger in the song And COPYCAT by Gumi is more about changing yourself to fit others expectations and standards

I like to think the mashup is Melanie and Billie going off on Gumi. In Circus-P's song the story is that Gumi *is* the CopyCat. She mirrors the people around her to gain their approval. Both Melanie and Billie sing about *being* copied, and you notice they sing a lot more than Gumi, who is mainly the instrumental. I sort of imagine that Melanie and Billie are telling Gumi off for copying them XD

This kinda sounds like a story tbh. like Billie and Melanie have been copied by someone. They then decided to team up on figuring out who and why they did it. Melanie is pretty pissed that they copied all of her interaction and personality, while Billie is pissed that they copied her looks, and charms. Billie and Melanie then find the copycat, Gumi. They then ask her why, In a somewhat rude way, that out of context, it looks like bullying. Gumi then burst out into tears explaining her reason why. She feels like she is nonhuman, ironic cause she is a vocaloid. She feels like being herself, doesn't give her enough attention, (contradicting to other vocaloid fans either not knowing her, or calling her overrated) she envy other peoples attention, so she start copying that. :v
