It could be that their parents made it so the kids dislike pizza so the parents can eat it all, my dad hates spagettio's because his dad told him they were gross so he could eat them all.
Someone I can relate to, I too am changing my life around with healthy choices. Her wearing her stretch marks proud is truly inspiring, I feel like I can roll my sleeves up and show my arms, since being obese I have stretch marks on every inch of my body. (I still hate my stretch marks but I love my well earned figure.)
Harvest Moon has been doing it since I was a kid if I recall. It's nice to see that these types of games have always been ahead of their time and so relaxing
@@BooksToAshes they had a “best friend system” in Japan in the game called DS Cute (it was basically just lesbians but under a different name) and the newest games include same sex marriage. But before that there was none. 😔 I’ve been playing since 2006. Haha big fan.
@@TheSlipperyNUwUdle Fun Fact about SOS: FOMT, in Japan and other Asian countries they still called it ‘best friends’ rather than a gay couple, it was XSeed who decided to make it explicitly gay in the West~ Also, the best friend system was very popular in Japan but the rival events were hated which is why there’s only two rival events in the game and they effect the players relationship or make the two characters any closer
the game look more inspired by harvest moon more than stardew valley tbh, but probably not a lot of people playing it out there but harvest moon was reaaaaaly popular in Indonesia that if you ask anybody around age 20 to 30 they would know what harvest moon is and yeah the studio clearly want to relive their fantasy in harvest moon plus adding more stuff from other game like rune factory and animal crossing even stardew valley
Definitely, I personally haven't really played Harvest Moon and I also can't really bring myself to go back and play some of them. Even the new one (which I tried) feels very outdated. Am excited to try Story of Seasons at some point tho, that one looks fun!
@@CobblewobblesYT well story of season is actually the real sequel of harvest moon, the dev break up with the NA publisher natsume which sadly hold the right to the title harvest moon and decided to make their own trash farming sim, just for consideration if there's no marvelous logo on it, don't play it. 😂

My favorites are Rafael and Lily. I love it that they are all older than in most farming Sims. What I don't like about rune factory, harvest moon and story of seasons is that they are all so young basically kids. I think you can tell more interesting and serious storys if your characters are older. And you can tell with this cast. They are all so interesting and having their own little baggage.
So far I'm torn between Noah, Nina, Theo, and Eva, though Rafael and Millie might be strong contenders for me depending on how they're written! Can I also just say that I absolutely adore the character designs? Everyone is adorable and their personality shines through, but I also really like how they have flaws. Ben's shaggy hair, a variety of sizes, Surya's little dad belly, and Suki's stretch marks are all so well-done. Oh, who am I kidding, Suki's stretch marks are SO REFRESHING to see on a female love interest, and she is ROCKING them!
It's funny to me how most of the romance options don't like fish or undersea life, but the place they choose to live in is literally named "Coral Island". 😂
Yes! I'm really wondering how that'll work with kids and stuff! We don't have a lot of details on the merfolk other than that two will be romanceable, we'll see I guess haha
Unpopular Opinion: I think Kenny's design can do a little bit more work or polishing. My inital impression is that he looks like a mash between a younger Rafael and a more tamed Pablo. It feels a little bit bland imo. That being said I also didn't quite warm up to Pablo's design at first, but I have liked it a lot better now. Also another thing I would like to see, the male casts having a little bit more diversities in hair colors. The female casts are great, like Yuri in green, Leah in pink, and Lily in deep blue.

I know that as players we're supposed to date them, but all I can think about it is that some of them would look good together instead and can there be a matchmaker option too 👀
I love games inspired by Harvest Moon. 😍😍😍😍😍 I’m so glad that even twenty or so years later this franchise is still loved. My first game was Harvest Moon DS and I own almost all the games after it.
I have never played a farming sim and taken advantage of the romance option. I’m bi but pretty picky, I come across this game and now I’m like well f*** everyone sounds pretty amazing. I’ve had my sights set on Alice and Macy though. I’m into Macy’s lifestyle but I think Alice would be more receptive to my weird phenomena obsessions. I guess we will find out. My IRL boyfriend likes Raphael because he too loves silence hahaha. I hope you make more videos on this game. Literally anything about it. I’m psyched and can’t find enough about it.
All I want is to combine mine and macys/millies cottage with Dippa and Emma’s cottage and have a poly relationship with them, having chickens, making art, drinking wine and having two kids.🍇
They already confirmed a Switch port, when this will be available is not known but it should launch almost simultaneously with the early access launch so maybe end of this year or early 2022, a switch release!

I looooove the art style so much. Everyone is so charming! Hard to choose. (Pansexual panic) I like the small details, particularly things like Suki having stretch marks. She's still just as attractive as anyone else. Makes me happy about my own tiger stripes 🥰
Gosh, all of the bachelorettes are so beautiful I love every one of their designs and what little background we have on them! The devs put a lot of thought into their creation I can tell. Macy, Zarah, Lily, and Nina are especially cute and their designs stand out to me. Yuri made my little bisexual heart skip a beat. Suki is looking to be by far the best girl, and I love how she has stretch marks! The Bachelors are also really well designed but I didn't find myself drawn to them as much as I was the bachelorettes. I find that happens a lot in games, the females usually just have the more interesting character designs. Or it could just be me and I'm intensely picky about the guys I like. lol Noah and Rafael have nice designs, Rafael especially looks like a gentle himbo and I love him for it. Scott's design is a bit more bland but I like that he's interested in artifacts and seems to have a sort of vintage vibe going! I have to see more of what his actual personality is like however because he could easily turn out to be different from what I expect (Him being dubbed as a "playboy" is what's making me apprehensive) and I could find myself rather annoyed with him. Theo is precious, and I adore him! Not surprising, however, as I tend to go after the shy/gentle fisherman in harvest moon-like games. Charles is a close contender to Theo, I want to give him a hug and lots of love. Also, like with Theo I have a habit of going for doctors like him in this genre of game. All in all, I can already tell I will be making many different farmers so I can romance a lot of these people!

Best Girl: Alice Best Boy: Noah My eyes have been set on Alice since my first impression on all of the bachelorettes, but I really really love Lily and Suki as well. :') Eva is also a close fourth I think lmao. As for the bachelors, Scott is a very close second! Surya and Rafael is a close third and fourth as well... Idk I think Noah is kind of special lmao. Wait, maybe especially because the team has said that Noah is a very close friend of Alice 😂. But that being said, I have liked him since the very start / my first impression. This game is such a challenge for anyone who tries to stay loyal to a single bachelor / bachelorettes, especially when there are a lot of them. :)))

I hope the game let you have some of the other hairstyles from the other characters and saved it is ones that are only for your character when you go into the salon
