Thanks for another fantastic ship tour Fraser 🤩 Coral Princess looks absolutely stunning - we could definitely see ourselves spending a week or two onboard 😃 It's great that older ships like Coral can still hold their own against the newer, ultra modern ships that are out there. Tere's something comforting about this style that we just love ❤️
Thanks for watching as always, guys! I found it great to see the 'older' Princess product - I'd only ever been on the much newer ships. It was really great to see the familiar 'Princess style' transition through to these older ships too. Also, you're SO CLOSE to 1k!!
@@FraserAtSea our please as always 😍 We are only slightly upset that the "older" ships were considered new when we started cruising together 😅 But you are right, it's great to see the development of the modern ship style on action 😊 And thankyou! We can't believe it! Thankyou so much for your support as well 😍
Great ship and staff are fantastic. We love the Universe Lounge, Explorers Lounge and Wheelhouse Bar for entertainment and dancing. Food in buffet excellent.
Thanks for this tour! I'm late getting back to watch this. 🤣 Coral was one of the 1st ships I ever saw in person, though I've never sailed her yet. Sure is a pretty ship inside! I love that class of ship that has the covered walking path.
Ah, hey! I'd recommend if you're considering - this was my first time onboard, and I was so impressed! Thanks as always for tuning in - so appreciated! :)
Hi Fraser. Gobsmacked that we weren't subscribed to you - we are now! 😂 Thanks so much for this ship tour. We're on Coral for 28 nights next year and this tour is without any doubt the best tour of her on RU-vid. :D Cheers! Rich
Hey! Oh, thanks so much - you guys are like RU-vid royalty subscribing, so thank you! Glad you found the tour useful - she’s a gorgeous ship - are you doing the Australia circle? If so, VERY jealous!
@@FraserAtSea Aww, you're far too kind Fraser. :) We're doing the full circumnavigation from Perth in March/April. Your videos are going to be REALLY useful to us so thank you! Glad I found your channel at last. I'm going to have a bit of a binge when I get a bit of quality time (normally when H is watching Strictly lol) :D
Thanks for the tour. We sailed on Coral 3 weeks ago and it was very helpful. We loved the back deck on the all cabin decks. Was a great place to chill while you waited for the washing to be done in the laundry towards the back of the ship. Regarding the ice cream station in the Lotus pool area they were free. You could get a vanilla, chocolate or a mix of the two. The milkshakes they made there were $3.50 each.
Hey Angela, so glad you found it useful - thanks for the info re ice cream and milkshakes - I’m sure people will find that really useful! She’s a beautiful ship - hoping to get onboard some more Princess ships soon for a good look round 👀 😊 Thanks for watching!
Superb tour of the ship. Clear, comprehensive and concise. Was put off by the Sanctuary taking up most of the rear of the ship. The aft is my favourite part of the ship and would not pay extra for access to it. I have no plans to cruise on that class of ship but I have learnt something! I will be on Sky Princess in June to the Fjords and Iceland and have an aft wake facing cabin so will enjoy rear the ship cruising experience.
Thanks for watching - great to see your name pop up! Wow, Sky will be such a fantastic ship for the Fjords, and sounds like your cabin is PERFECT for the views. Have the best time!
We are on the Coral in March 2024 to circumnavigate Australia. It's great Australia has a no smoking policy, so sitting in Crooners lounge, you don't smell stale smoke. The last time we were on her was Mar. 13 2020, when we were called back to port. I am looking forward to seeing if there are any changes.❤
Ahh, that’s going to be such a great itinerary - I’m always so jealous of the Australian routes, especially the circumnavigations! Thanks so much for checking out my video!
We loved your view of the mini-suite without a balcony. We are heading to Alaska so I believe when there is something to see, we will be UPSTAIRS! And like you say, there is a window so you can see out. We will look into it. We have had one in our cruise history...a mini-suite. We really loved the additional space afforded the bath with the tub instead of the corner shower. Let us know a way to upgrade if you know one! Thank you. G&L
Hello! Thanks so much for watching, and they’re really gorgeous rooms. If you don’t mind not having outside space, the one with the window would be lovely for Alaska - so different! I actually did Alaska in an inside cabin, so don’t worry - plenty of deck space to enjoy. Thanks again for your support!!
Thank you, the filming and tour of Coral Princess was fantastic. We have watched it a few times. The quality of the video was so clear and vibrant. We are booked on the Coral Princess around Australia 2024 , 30 day cruise. Please give us you opinion of the standard of food both in the buffet and main dining room. Is it as good as pre Covid days or has the quality, choice and presentation gone downhill due to Princess trying to save money. A friend of ours went on Coral , June 2022, and thought the menu was very Americanised and variety limited with the menus not changing. Anyones comment also would be helpful regarding food and entertainment choices during cruise.
I’m going to be posting a ‘good on Princess’ video soon, so stay tuned for that one, but for now I’ll say that I’ve found the main dining rooms on Princess (on both Discovery and Coral) to be very good. Very different menus each evening! Sounds like you’ve got a great cruise planned, and thanks so much for watching my video! :)
Really lovely video! Quite well done. I’m booked for 16-nights in Jan. 2025 doing a Panama Canal cruise from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale. It’s going to be a long countdown!
Thanks, great ship tour. Interesting to see how much public space you had on this ship. Was on Sky Princess in june and getting a table in a bar after dinner was really hard. And we tried all the spaces! Do you find much difference to solo traveller meet ups on different ships but within the same cruise line. Only been brave enough to go once, was lucky with who I met but meeting was held in outside bar which the weather was never warm enough for. They seemed to be missing a trick to me.
Hey Lesley, thanks so much for the positive feedback, and thanks for watching! I'd agree with the newer ships, especially when they're busy - Discovery Princess could be tricky at times to sit in the key areas, unless you went to the earlier dinner sitting then got seated for the night! That said, we did always manage to find a table though, even if it meant pinching chairs from other tables to build our own, ha! Every line is just so different, and I'm now finding that individual ships can be different too. I think you're already subscribed to the channel, but this is a key point I'm hoping to dive into more over the next few months, so 'watch this space'! Thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment!
Hey! Thanks so much - the trick is timing, and have a body clock that allows you to either retire for the night very late, or get up really early! Otherwise, you’ll have people in the shots, ha!
@@FraserAtSea I guess that’s the thing about inside on a ship though, it could be any time. Will try to get up a bit earlier on the next one then. We do like to have some people in our videos to show how they normally look but sometimes there are just too many people around. Love looking back on the Coral though and would love to get back on board but timings are not aligning at the moment. Take care.
That is what concerns me about this ship as I am booked on it March 2025 Panama canal is no back of this ship area other tha Sancutary. I know there are spots but not much & I do not feel like paying. Thanks for the video.
Hey! I totally hear you - I was worried I’d miss the Sydney Harbour bridge for my sail away, but I snuck in, haha! Thanks a lot for watching, and therefore supporting my channel!
Could you please confirm for me... does the Thermal Spa area include actual spas like they do in the Enclave across other Princess ships? Or is it just the thermal showers and saunas and heated tile beds?
Hey! Good question. This was the smallest thermal suite I’d seen on a ship, and it didn’t feature the large spa pools like the Enclave unfortunately. There are plenty of hot tubs out and about elsewhere on the ship though, if that helps!
Yep. Came to comment on Casinos at sea. They don’t need to comply with local minimum payout rules when they are at sea. You may find the casino closed when they are in port, as they can’t change all the programs on the pokies to comply with local rules. Guaranteed you have a much lower chance of a payout than on any machine in mainland Australia at least.
