Today, I'm coming to you from a Standard Balcony cabin onboard Coral Princess, a cruise ship owned and operated by Princess Cruises. In this video, I'm going to give you a full, detailed room tour of this cabin, and also offer you some hints and tips if you're looking to book this, or a similar, room in the future!
If you're new to my channel, hello! I totally get this - I would however rather be in the sun. I think that's probably the plague of growing up in Scotland - I yearn to be in the sun, haha!

Thank you Fraser. 🙂My wife has just put down a down payment for a cruise on Coral princess and the initial description was not very enlightening. But this room and A520 are the same side and fairly close to together, ours being about Midline vice Forward. From what I've been able to find, the only issue we might run into is noise from above early in the morning, or late at night. Knock wood it won't be a problem. But your review has put my mind at rest about what we should be able to see looking out from our balcony. Thank you again.!!

Ha, I always try to remove ‘cruise jargon’ from my videos too, as it drives me insane! I did actually - amazing I managed it with the wind on the open deck that night!!! Haha!

The thing that jumps out at me for this perfectly acceptable cabin, is the lack of a comfy chair/small sofa, guess we're too used to the more modern cabins?

Funny you say this Stephen - I did think the same, but also thought this on Regal last year - always worth checking the furniture layout of your cabin, as a room like this doesn’t have many option. That said, not an issue for me as I don’t spend much time in the cabin, but for sure something to think about if you do hang out in there more often during your cruise!

@@FraserAtSea We probably spend more time in the cabin than others. But I'm never comfortable sitting up in a bed I need a reasonable back on a chair. And with no comfy chair or just a stool for the desk I've ended up using a balcony chair, if it's decent! But that's just me. 🤣

A shower curtain is a big no no for me, plus the shower itself looks very antiquated. Think I will pass on this particular Ship.

I agree re the shower curtain - if you’ve seen my other cabin tours, you’ll be fed up hearing about it, haha! She’s a beautiful ship, but a few small changes here would be great!
