Cord to Cordless Vintage Reciprocating Saw Conversion - No Winding

I found this vintage tool from Japan recycle shop. It is a 100V 570W reciprocating saw made in Japan. There are 2 reasons to encourage me to do this project. It doesn't work anymore, while all gearboxes are remaining good, this is the first reason. The second reason is aluminum case, aluminum case power tool is not easy and safety to use.

Got you. Switch was off when you did the function test in the beginning. Just compare beginning with the function test with the batteries at 15:54. Switch "sticking out at the bottom", so off. I would actually prefer if you didn't do the initial "function test" at all. It doesn't have to be broken if you prefer having it cordless...

Depend on the user manual, this switch is used to for high and low speed. I also turn this switch too before firming.

The permanent magnet never got heat, only the armature get heat while running.

Якорь родной 110 вольт, я просто заменил обмотку полем на постоянный магнит и применил источник постоянного тока 40В от 2-х батарей по 20В.
