I've been on the fence about buying a corded impact for a while and your video just made the decision for me. I already have so many battery powered gadgets to maintain. Need my tools to work when I want to work.

I got tired of using the wheel wrench to remove flat tires, do brakes. For a weekend mechanic, this is perfect.

The "VS" in your title stands for Variable Speed?< never mind, it's acronym for "versus" lol. Pretty sure that's the exact gun I've got, definitely NOT variable speed.. Other'n that ok, have mainly used for lug nuts, and did help recently breaking loose exhaust nuts.

A battery-operated impact driver is made for screws, not lug nuts. Of course you’re tired of it not working. Try comparing that to a Dewalt 1/2” impact wrench and then talk.

You should use a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts.

just buy a impact wrench the corded ones arent that much cheaper if you already have batteries and the cordless have better preformance

That’s the thing “ if you already have the batteries” The wireless variation can reach 3-4x the price

I still prefer my pneumatic impact, pawn shops have huge air tanks for pretty cheap where I'm at. And nothing beats the "great ugga dugga" gun It's a 1 inch m18 milwaukee with heavy duty impact adapters. If that can't remove it. Nothing will.

I have 3 cars. On one of them, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole of locking up drum brakes in the rear. That took forever to figure out due to it not always locking up. Outside of that I do brake jobs, changing tires, figuring out wheel speed issue, and replacing suspension. I buy neglected cars and fix them up.
