This is the best airbrush cleaning tutorial I've seen so far. I know it's specific to a particular brush, but its given me another push toward getting one of these portable brushes. Never used an airbrush before, and the cost and mystic seeming art in their use has stopped me. Seeing positive longer-term reviews and positive results really helps. As a "Southern Poof", I thank you sir!
i tend to clean all my airbrushes similar to this video i find this cordless airbrush to be easy to clean and use airbrushing does take a little bit of getting used to but once you get used to spraying it makes models so much better in my view thanks
Hi, would you recommend one of these air brushes over a separate brush and compressor setup? I'm an occasional modeller and I’m not sure what to buy. Great channel by the way!
Certainly would recommend one or any that's similar Try and get a dual action version and it will be fine for anyone starting out airbrushing Will also be fine for bulk spraying or detail work as long as it's not higher than 0.3 needle size Still using mine and had it around 18 months now My daughter only uses that airbrush and she builds large star wars kits
Hi... great video.. please do you have a link for the twin set of airbrush kit on everythingairbrush?? I have looked but can't find it. Or even better the name or reference of just the one airbrush in that set that fits the wireless kit.. . thanks
I can't seem to find the exact one on everything airbrush It is a while ago I bought it but looking at the website I would say the ab-200 is the closest match and it looks like the bottom connector under the trigger will come off but I can't guarantee that Hope that helps
@@yorkshiremanmodels thanks very much for having a look.. i appreciate it . I went through the whole list myself and there isn't a twin set so no longer available i guess.. thanks again and all the best 😁👍
@@yorkshiremanmodels I'm just having a few problems with the gun.. after painting the underside of wings it stopped working.. spent half the day stripping it down, cleaning, messing about with all the settings, and trying adding more thinner to the paint bit can't get it to spray.. must be blocked somewhere
@@jackrussell19a more than likely is i would strip it apart and soak the airbrush parts in warm water for a while and then soak it in iso propanol alcohol for a few hours if your using enamels though its going to need soaking in white spirits or turpentine obviously dont soak the battery
Hard to say as it hasn't got a dial to say but compared to my proper compressor I would say it's between 16 and 18 psi I spray tamiya gloss through it and that's fine
i have used the cheap O rings before and they work fine they dont like cellulose thinners though as that makes them break down a lot faster so now i remove any before a good airbrush clean
