It looks so light and easy to operate the machine. I thought the machine would be heavy with the big battery. But I didn't think the machine would be light on its own. It's an orbital polishing machine. At least it's not bad. How long could you polish before your hand started to hurt?
Thanks for reviewing this i was thinking of getting it but as soon as you mentioned about the vibrations it's ruled it self out, keep up the honest feedback regarding all the testing you do best wishes to you and your family...rich
Greetings Szolt, since you had a video with a rotary parkside PPM 1200 A1, and this PPMA 20-Li C3 is an orbital polisher. Can you write your opinion on the combination of these two polishing machines, large parts of the bodywork on the car to be worked with the rotary machine PPM 1200 A1 plus 2 to 3 passes with different granulations of sponges and pastes, that is more pastes of different granulations, rotary polisher in combination with with wool, it removes the varnish from the sheet metal and exclusively use pads up to 125mm and 75mm even smaller dimensions, and this orbital polisher PPMA 20-Li C3 exclusively with smaller drops of 75 mm for the final finish and anti hologram paste. Best regards from Serbia
Hiya, that's a good idea in general, just not sure, how would the DA behave with the 75 mm backing plate, maybe it would vibrate ways too much. But definitely for finish, with the 125 mm backing plate.
Greetings from France, thank you for you detailed explanations, very insighful! One question if I may, in the conclusions you started discussing about what could be good alternatives in a similar price range. Would you have a few models to recommend (I am a non professionnal, however I would polish more often than every 20 years :D) ? I guess of course they would be mostly corded. Thanks!
Hiya, cheers :) The problem with an advice is the price range. In this price range, there is not much of competition. If I add the price of a battery to it, then it might come close to some corded Yato devices, but as a hobby machine, with a 125 mm and 75 mm backing plate, I would go with an ADBL Roller D09. It is still at a higher price range, but a proven, good machine for hobby users. It has "only" a 9 mm stroke, so wouldn't remove deep scratches, but in return, you don't go through all the clear coat either :)
@@OCDaddyZsolt thank you very much for your swift reply! I didn't know about ADBL, it looks like a Polish brand (no pun intended), I have to see if it's readily available in France. Definitely worth investigating, thanks!
@@sajadeshahidpour2008 It is a Polish brand indeed :) I've been to their education centre twice already, they are very nice and knowledgeable people. Have a look at addictauto in France, they have ADBL products.
I absolutely cannot recommend the polisher. The vibrations are not strong, they are even worse and unhealthy. If you put the machine on full power, the mechanisms is so loud, it sounds like a old traktor. Almost too loud to use without hearing protection and also the unbelievable strong vibration. I'm curious how they even release auch Maschines to Production, is there absolutely no testing before they produce them? The engineer of this machine should apply for a other job. Maybe they release a parkside performance version that has no Vibrations and will be silent.
Maybe it is faulty? Try to return it under warranty, or usually there are a few days/weeks at Lidl, when you can return it and get your money back. The one I tried also "died", when I put the battery on, it switches on straight away, at max speed.
