@@LoiccoiL Almost certainly. If someone gives you the source of a game (through Github or otherwise), you can always open and edit/preview it. You may not be able to publish if for example, they already published, or it's using their account's shared keys, but you can contribute the same otherwise.
Hey! So Roblox platform works great with the hodge podged primitive parts as models to create and use in our games. But Core has set the general standard for detail so high with the in game assets it provides that any attempt to hodge podged primitive shapes together comes out looking like a sore thumb. What I am saying is that this isn't going to work kin it's current state. The asset building inside core. You need to come up with something creative and safe to help us creators add more models and objects to our levels that you couldn't at first foresee or predict
If core was made with artist in mind than they failed to understand Artist! As an Artist we don't want to be pampered with already made assets! We need to create things from nothing from a blank page! As it the only way it would make sense to us! We don't want to create your stories but ours! We need a game engine that has no limitations but that is user friendly like coding not being required! We don't want your help when it comes to creating artistic content! Leave that part too us! Core simply those not live up to it's name! There nothing core about it! Everything is spoon feed to you! Just another game engine where the games already made for you!
Yes, here's our documentation about collaborating in Core: docs.coregames.com/tutorials/collaboration_overview/ We suggest using Github which is an industry standard for collaborating on big projects. Also great for version control. 👍
Nope, everything is made in Core using kitbashing. To see some examples of what's possible, check out this video from our recent City Jam contest: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NvU2L7civJQ.html
Why do game objects have 10 million parts? They need to be rendered in as a 1 unit. There should be a a library of scrips. Core needs alot of work to make user friendly. There should be a difference between terrain and surface area.
@@MuhammadSiddqi Yes, we host contests and game jams regularly with several different categories and prize tiers. Here's our latest one with a $20k prize pool: itch.io/jam/ggj-core-holiday-jam-2020 It just started 30 minutes ago, so you have plenty of time to make something if you're interested! :)
This is not a modeling tutorial. This is a tutorial of core in general. Please keep these guides shorter, a lot of us don't have time to watch 40 minutes of this.
This isn't really modeling. More like texturing. Unfortunately the lack of any 3d modeling tools or the ability to import ruins it for me. It's just roblox at this point.
