Watch Corey Taylor perform his song "Through Glass" during a live acoustic session at Guitar World Studios in New York City. ‘CMF2’ is out now: coreytaylor.lnk.to/CMF2ID #CoreyTaylor #CMF2
I'm sorry, friend. May the veil of life be as thin as the glass, the grains of sand that make the glass are endless lifetimes apart. One day, those grains will compress under the pressure, and all will be clear again. Just don't let the pressure break the glass
@@alexcorona It's just like taking a photo with a camera, there is post processing done, automatically, just from the camera alone producing the photo. But we don't point out that every photo we see is edited unless it's over-edited... There is no over editing of this song to the point he's hiding what his voice sounds like. He's not lip syncing or anything. I think that is the obvious point being made here.
Holy crap, I didn't know you could feel all warm and fuzzy and have the chills at the same time from listening to a song quite like that. What an amazing performance
I've been playing guitar for a while now. I have always tried to play this song but could never quite get the tone right. Come to find out, it's in E flat open tuning, so...after tuning down a bit, I hit the first chord and had my "AHA" moment. Played it flawlessly after that. I enjoyed this video because I felt like I got to play along with CMFT while he sang. Pretty sweet!
🤘🏽😎🎸 I love playing this song and it’s one of my favourites. Love you Corey and thank you for putting out music. It’s like you put music out at the perfect time. Especially when I need to hear something different❤️🔥
This is the first performance of through glass by Corey where he actually says "its the Staa...aars" instead of "Star Cowards" or whatever. He sounds amazing btw ❤
I’ve never heard “staar aars” with my own ears in all the versions I’ve heard. Nor have I ever heard anyone debate saying he says “star aaars”. A few debates fo sho about that lyric, no one ever says he’s saying stars. Star cunt, cowards, liars, cows, etc…never just stars
The song is half step down. So in Standard would be B9 C#9 (or Db9 for strange people) D#9 (Eb9 for weird people) In the case you tunned half down: Well you gonna make one position above but still gonna be the original chords xd. B9 as C9 C#9 as D9 D#9 as E9
this is one of the best songs ever written and i'm not just saying that. even my mom loves it. she loves disturbed and the doors, she's not just a regular old lady lol.
