Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I chased a mouse like that once. I missed with the shovel and it turned around and ran up my leg inside my jeans. It made it up past my knee despite a lot of jumping and kicking. I had to lower my pants to remove the smashed and bloody mouse. I had a big bruise on my thigh for about a week from pounding on that mouse inside my pants to make sure it didn't get any higher.

It all works in the end. Nice to see your dad getting around without his cane. See he climbed the bin also. Good for him and his knee. That gate that closed in one of your pits. Glad you can get a vac to clean it out. Is there someway that gate can be converted to electronic control???? Might help. Probably not. The weight on your corn is great. Have not seen that for some years. Like the way you petted that mouse. Quick little animals. But you got em in the end. Dangerous with a shovel Zach. What a busy day with all that was going on. Wow. Hang in there. Keeps you moving for sure. Like the seals on your doors. Good product. About it for now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks. @@garyeaton5719 yeah I use to help a dairy farmer harvest silage after we were done doing sweet corn harvest. Our trucks hauled double what their trucks hauled. It was an occupation that you must love because there wasn’t any return on investment of time. Going 24/7 and never a day off. To smell like cow poo and copper that they washed the hooves in. I think that’s why when dairy farmers go broke they have problems moving on. It’s all they know. Farming in general doesn’t make it worth while. I farm still and it’s definitely something you have to passionate about you can make way more money doing tons of other things.

Love me some adhesive weld. FYI. The flex seal is pretty good as well. Not good enough to patch a boat in shark infested waters!! Lol. Don’t know if you have preference. But iv found that gorilla tape is the best in my book

WOW you're clearly the hub of that farm. I'm always impressed how you manage the grain storage system. The place would fall apart without you.

I'm glad to hear that the entire harvest has not been a complete disaster despite such a dry season followed a crop smashing storm. I guess a benefit of having such a big operation is that things can average themselves out.

I love videos like this! So much going on and shows that it's not all just sitting in the cab of a tractor, combine or semi. Hate to see you having issues, but love the fact you show it's not always smooth. Just a big fan of harvest season and the videos all you great farmtubers put out. I appreciate all your work!

You have to revamp your system. So you don't have to shut your dryer down to load trucks
