She’s been writing lyrics since she was twelve, and has honed her skills brilliantly. She writes her own music and knows exactly how she wants to deliver the finished product! Perfection!
Love your appreciation for Taylor's talents. She's an amazing songwriter and has great talent as a performer to express her artistry through her songs. She doesn't have to be the best singer vocally. That said, many of her songs cannot be sung well without skill. Just because her voice or style of singing is different from vocal powerhouses such Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston does not mean it is not good. I especially love whenever she performs with just a guitar or piano because it really highlights her skills as a musician and ability to captivate a crowd.
