You can only apply to one school within Cornell at a time. You must write your one school-specific essay with the goal of explaining why you want to study that major within that one particular school at Cornell. Therefore, you must pick which school you want to apply to in order to study that major and explain why that is your choice. Then you will be considered in the context of expectations for that particular school at Cornell. Good luck.
