I'm a little late to the party, but I just started following Jaxson from his recruitment until his commitment to USC. Loved everything I saw on the field and just can't wait to see this dynamic young QB as he develops over the years ahead. I'm a grad and attended every Coliseum game two seasons ago. Had the time of my life and know Jaxson will have the Coli rockin' when his time comes. Thanks!
Jackson Light is a beast he actually looked better as a nose tackle than a center, anyone that can toss around linemen from Bingham that easily has to be rated no lower than a four star
When I was a senior in high school 14-15 Bingham was nationally ranked and running Utah. Played against them every year in region play and this looks nothing like the Bingham football I know from back in the day. Either way, Utah football been on the come up as of late. Last year I think it was Lone Peak that whooped on Narbonne.
2013 - 2017/18 Bingham probably should have won 5 titles in a row but 4 out of 5 isn't bad, and they went something like 74-2 against the state of Utah during that run with both loses coming against Lone Peak.
2005 - 2010: top 2 in the state like every year 2011-2012: Top 5/10 2013-2017: basically #1 that whole time (2015 Lone Peak/Herriman were up with them) 2018-2019: Top 5/10 2020: Looking like the first time in over 15 years they might not be top 10 but they've played probably the 2 best teams at the moment so ill wait and see
@Clement Richmond He isn't wrong, like 90% of the major players from Utah are lineman, Utah is lacking elite athletes compared to the major football states.
can't stand Binhams's OC or coach for that matter. my nephew who's been always touted as one of the best QB's in the state little league, then in Jr High, and going into high school yet all the OC knows how to do is run the football. Even on obvious passing situations and even when down by 3 TD's in passing situations all the OC does is run the football. Sure they have a couple of great backs, but I'm afraid I might not get to see my nephew make the next level because he's not been given the chance. Even Jason Garrett (Cowboys ex-coach)would cringe at that play calling, and that says a world full.
mannnnnnnnnnnnn too bad he's a senior, because Bingham's new OC this upcoming year; Les Hamilton is pretty well known for his spread offense and how he runs it- Basic pro style concepts mixed in some rpo's I believe
@@pals4life921 well since I made that post I have learned that the coach is the one to blame, The OC told my brother that he thinks Troy Mehn (My nephew) is or could be one of the best QB's in the state but the coach wouldn't let him call passing plays. He wanted to open up the offence more but the coach wouldn't allow him. So I guess next year will determine how much freedom the coach will give him, in the mean time I'm hoping Troy will get into a good situation at a small college with a good surrounding talent and be able to impress the bigger colleges.
@@kurtmorris454 that’s kinda the problem with football in SLC & the main reason why Utah county dominates the state now as far as 5A & 6A go. They’ve expended the playbook & are keeping up with the jones’. You can just tell by watching
Not a cool move for the center to wear his Oregon socks while the rest of the team is wearing the same color. That's how you create enemies within your team.
@@nowdoyouunderstandpain6066 they are just socks I get it. But why wear them during the game when you have all week to wear the socks. It seems arrogant for him to throw it in his teammate face that hes better because he's going to Oregon.
@@ia4687 i doubt he is wearing them because he thinks he is better than all them. He is wearing them.because he likes them. Its no arrogant, they are just socks
