All good things eventually have to come to an end. In this case the boat retrieve came a bit early as the weather really decided to kick off. Watch the video to the end to witness the wild conditions that can be thrown up within a few hours.
Fishing Falmouth 2024 has been a marvellous adventure and has provided some 'firsts' on the boat from the nine species caught. One or two of the target species didn't show but that's all the more reason for Fishing Falmouth 2025.
A highlight for me has been meeting viewers on the pontoon and out at sea on their own boats. I've enjoyed sharing Falmouth 2024 and if you've watched all the videos, thanks, I hope you've enjoyed them too. If you want to see more of Fishing Falmouth take a look at the playlists and archives I've linked below.
Tight lines from me and a tail wag from Dee. We are both looking forward to bringing you more content this year and look out for Falmouth 2025 next year.

Robert. Thanks for the comments, you’re welcome. My aim with the channel is to share the adventures of an average angler and it's great folks are enjoying watching. Phil.

Great series of videos Phil, I've just finished watching them. Glad to see your shoulder is better. Some good fishing, you did well to say you wasn't on home turf and in those conditions! That 20hp really pushes your boat along at a good lick and the boat is more than capable in choppy seas. Looking forward to the next video.

Thanks for watching and commenting. The Tohatsu will push the loaded Coastliner up to 18 knots and 20 if I take all the stuff off. I’ve usually two anchors, plenty of fuel etc etc. There was a Spectrum 480p on the next pontoon which I saw out a couple of times.

Thanks, you'll love boating and fishing down in Cornwall. Hopefully there will be a Fishing Falmouth 2025 but I'm not sure when that'll be. Enjoy Cornwall, tight lines and stay safe out on the water.

@@anotherangleUK I need to get to different waters next year, been saying long enough, only been out three times this year, due to weather not matching time off, I’ll look out for your next adventure, while I hope for mine 😁

Lovely video Phil, I can launch and recover on that slipway at any tide, but i agree its easier with more water. With that visitors pontoon I always go on the inside, less swell and it usually pushes the boat away frim the pontoon rarher than onto it.
@anotherangleUK
@anotherangleUK 3 месяца назад
Hi Tommo, I agree about the inside of visitor pontoon being best. I've seen a few boats being bashed about on the outside. Regards the slipway, mind the step. Look at my round up video from last year ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eeh-8jWW9OU.htmlsi=6l0pl-MBAYxgHKzB&t=479 Phil

Last year I had the 8 inch wheels on the trailer - they'd not have coped. You’re on four thirteen inch wheels? Much better suited to the step.
@fat_tommo_goes_boating
@fat_tommo_goes_boating 3 месяца назад
@anotherangleUK yes 13" wheels and my trailer is 25ft long, so the tow vehicle is usually a fair way up the slipway
@anotherangleUK
@anotherangleUK 3 месяца назад
In that case your drive wheels are probably back up in the car park 😂😂😂. It's a very good slipway considering it's free. Bonus.

I do appreciate their help, I guess having a boat smaller than a lot of the tenders helps.

@user-ru3re2nv1t I launch my Mylor and either just anchor overnight by the sailing club or leave the boat on the trailer there as I have paid for the parking anyway
