But what the characters, and even the creators for that matter, are failing to realise is that even if Daisy had had her way with Ryan that night, Ryan was too drunk to give consent, so it would have actually been rape/sexual assault rather than a case of him being unfaithful.
Daisy's ulterior motives are to shack up with a guy that's going to spoil her and look after her. She doesn't essentially want to be living with her step mum Jenny. She's ruined other people's lives, though I dare say, there seems a slight spark between her and Daniel.
@@dannynix4546 haha, touché. Wish she would get rid of Daisy chain, but then Jenny would be all alone, and she won't want that... Also doesn't she own the pub with her?
I love how nobody’s mentioned the fact that daisy could have legit lied that Ryan raped her if she wanted and he’d be able to do nothing about it as he has no memory of the event. She could have just destroyed his life and had absolutely everybody on her side
@@rickwatson4528 I know all that. But the consequences of what she did haven’t been questioned. She could have quite easily, if she wanted ruined that mans life and every court in the land would be on her side as the woman.
@@obiwankenobi687 Well, if she wanted to cry rape then she would have had to gone to the hospital and assembled a "Rape kit." She would have been examined for vaginal abrasions and the presence of semen and any bruisng. She had none of that so it would have been had to claim rape. It really is hard to claim rape especially if it does not happen in the first place. I don't think every court in the land would have automatically been on her side.
@@rickwatson4528 a woman waking up with a man who was drunk and can’t remember a thing. There’s an opportunity there where the man can’t defend himself. Especially if she doesn’t report it straight away. If she went months later to report him and he can’t remember not having sex with her. Then she could make it so even he believes that he did something
@@obiwankenobi687 i can believe that the woman could convince the man they had sex but rape? Daisy had no motive to cry rape. And there was no physical evidence she had been raped.
And in a way, that’s rape. I’ve got a feeling that this will be a woman-on-man rape storyline. I really hope so, because I don’t think that sort of thing is talked about enough.
