@brettthomson-hunter8237 Leukemia is an illness, maleria is an illness. You choose to be a gambler 🐴 you choose to be a drunk🫗 you don't like me and the sarge because we tell it straight.
Once a gambler, always a gambler. What did Ed expect? For the family to understand he didn't mean to cause any heartbreak, let alone have an addiction to gambling? To be honest, if Aggie found out about this, I wouldn't be surprised if she asked for a divorce.
@@johnpederson5873Gambling might be legal but it's as bad an addiction as alcoholism or drug abuse in it's own way. Think about a scenario where you have $200 to your name. Enough to buy groceries that you and your family needs. On your way to the store, you see they are selling lottery tickets at $5 a throw with a chance to win $100,000. A gambler is only going to see 40 chances to win something with microscopic odds but in their brain, it's almost a sure thing.
