the scene with Nick and Sam kind of mimicks what happened before with Steve and Oliver. Where Steve took baby Oliver to visit where Ruari's ashes were scattered on the beach. Michelle was furious with Steve and felt like he replaced Ruari with Oliver. So Leanne is furious to have Sam there- wonder if she feels the same.
@@AlexRow55 I agree but I can understand Her only child just died and along comes out of nowhere this healthy smart child of her husbands Sam is all Leanne Oliver wanted to be
@laura marrero fabian Good Lord nobody said Sam deserved it! I just said I can understand Leanne just like I did when Michelle lost Ruiry and she went off the deep end for awhile No she doesnt get a free pass! Just a little leeway on the day of her sons funeral!
@@sophiesudlow6834 nick to Oliver is what Leanne is to Simon. Nick was just as much Oliver’s dad as Steve is, even if there was no official adoption so in a way Oliver was kind of Sarah’s nephew. Family doesn’t always have to be blood.
Yeah, a nine-year-old does not understand the nuances of grief. The producers and writers will usually have Leanne say something nasty and then she stomps her feet and marches away.
I've been in situations where people try to comfort someone who is grieving and they are in such a state they aren't the voice of reason. After a couple of "Cocktails" they lash out, scream, curse and say horrible things.
Was rude the way Leanne spoke to Sam like that. Yes I know Oliver died but the only thing that littlein Sam wanted to do was to show support not be in anyone's way.
This ground breaking storyline was compromised by the shrewlike caricature that Leanne has become in the last few months. Jane Danson was brilliant but I found her portrayal so offputting . I know nothing is perfect but if Leanne had shown flashes of empathy for others instead of narcissism and cruelty...it would have been so much more relateable....in my opinion.
I like him and he’s very intelligent but I think that makes him a little bit naive. He’s only young and doesn’t really understand why people are upset, it’s like how he had wrote the poem, it was lovely but he barely knew Oliver, he’d only met him once or twice when Oliver was in hospital on life support.
People saying Leanne shouldn’t of got mad at Sam, Sam comes along to soemthing he’s not invited to, dressed casually and not smart, it’s quite innapropriate and rude
