Coros Pace 3 vs Garmin Forerunner 945 LTE: WHY Pay MORE? 

This is the 945 LTE (released in 2021) which was released 2 years after the original 945 (2019). Slightly different feature set.

@@BrendonCamm, why did you get the LTE version? WHY pay MORE?

Same reason I got it so I could broadcast my runs via text message and anybody I want will know where I am at any given moment. Also it comes in handy when you’re racing and gives them mile updates if they don’t want to click on a live map.

I haven't personally tried the 255, but based on what I've read and seen from others I'd say they're fairly similar

It all depends on what you're looking for! If you want more advanced features (health tracking, etc) then the FR 955 would be better. IF you want a solid watch for tracking activities, getting HR, etc, then Pace 3 will do the trick :)

@@BrendonCamm Any idea if the Pace 3 is suitable for a triathlon (sprint, olympic or half) and how well the triathlon mode works (does it include all the necessary data you would expect)?
