Dude this is the second video I wanted and the second you told me vaguely about a great video I can watch but you don't link it and I can't find it in your haystack of a channel.
Sorry but in my case, I learned how to improve my cadence via sticking to Zone 2 heart rate so hearing that you go to 160spm territory made me scratch my head
my shirt with holes have more cloth compared with this. i am avoiding brands and shopping-district for brands and outlet-brands. i have enough for greedy brand-warfare shops to ... not their sillyness. when you have arrived, you dress comfortable like anyhow because conmen and conwomen dress well
Progress isn’t linear. It’s like getting a truck out of the mud. But once you get to being able to jog for 30 minutes things really open up for you. Personally I feel a switch in me go off at about 20 minutes where I feel like I am in the run, not like I’m running. It’s like I’m observing myself run. I still feel pain, but it’s more of an observation of pain like I’m flying and my cockpit is going off with alarms for low air, pain, cramps, soreness. Every time your plays a trick to stop you, and you push it, be happy because you broke a barrier. With that said, don’t set unrealistic goals at first where you are set up to fail. Set up and knock down some easy wins
I couldn’t run for that long either until I had already lost a bit of weight first. The way I got started was by going to hot yoga 3 times a week for a month. By then I had lost enough weight to start running.
The most important benefit of training in zone 2/MAF is being injury-free. If you have never faced a serious injury before, stick with your training routine and don't need to consider switching to zone 2/MAF.
How do you get that many carbohydrates into that meal? Well you add corn syrup to everything. It gives you a high and of being full. At least for the very near future. The main things to do when someone want to lose weight is simple. Learn to cook!!
I’m 5’3 135 lbs and have been slim my entire life however I can’t run more than 90 seconds.. maybe its a mental block but I don’t like the feeling of the heart rate when it’s over 50 bpm. Watching this in hope that I can override the anxiety.
I started running in 2018 at 220lbs I was down to 160lbs two and a half months later maintained until 2022. Now in 2024 I have put on 100lbs and am trying so hard to get back into it but it is so discouraging the pain and exhaustion I feel. I have to remind myself to start slow like I did the first time. Thank you for the video, we are our own worst critics forsure.
I got into swimming first and now find running a little easier. Not even thinking about the weight, it's not what it's all about, it's about a good mindset. Thank you for the video❤
Overweight , newbie here. So true about baby steps. I hurt my knees a few months ago and said I'd take it easy this time around. 4 weeks now into prepping training with the just run app and 4 weeks more to go to my first 5k. I am doing this for me! 🎉
I run for various reasons, mental health, physical health, the challenge of it, pushing my limits, proving to myself I can do hard things. Running can be used for so many different things and for me it evolves all the time!
I’ve gone from being completely sedentary with type 2 diabetes to running 5 days a week. I know I need to lose weights but I said to myself- I’m running for my general health and fitness - especially my mental health. I knew if the focus was solely my weight I’d get disheartened if I never saw change. I focus on how good it makes me feel . Some days are easier than others
Is it good for heavier runner? I’m 5’9 89kg. My daily trainer is novablast 3, long run shoe is NB 1080v13 (love the cushion) and now looking for faster pace training. Is endorphin speed 4 good for me considering my weight?
I love the change your mindset advice! If you think you are a fatty... it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy.. so don't let it be. You are a guy who is just trying to "lose a couple pounds".
I was never that serious about running, but 10 years ago I could run 2.5 miles in about 20 to 23 minutes, at a bodyweight of 145 lbs. Then I stopped running and focused entirely on weightlifting and over-eating. Now I finally started running again weighing 200 lbs (with a lot of abdominal fat), and I can barely do 1 mile in 13 minutes. 😫 My plan is to do 1 mile, twice a week. Then do it 3 times per week. I'd eventually like to work my way up to 5 miles, 1 to 3 times per week. But man, running at this heavier bodyweight makes such a difference!
I agree with properly fueling. I do a calorie deficit however before I workout I fuel up on a carb and a protein. Yhe carb will burn and the protein will build muscle.
Had older nimbus, it was superb for heavy runners but the foam didnt last as long as kayano. These soft and bouncy maximum shoes are as good as advertised but tend to bottom out quicker.
