York I live in central New York and I've tested it dozens of times in the woods large pine trees has a lot of dead branches I grabbed the ends of them which are needle in size and start a fire with one match. Absolutely killer and a little less time than making a bird's nest or Tinder bundle. Thank you corporal I've learned so much from you I can't thank you enough and I watch every single show. I have your pullover and zip up Hoodie the bottle and cup set the hanging cooking grate and more. However, none of those things are worth the knowledge you have taught me. Thank you very much sir !!!!!

One of the most important pieces of knowledge and skill to know. I never wait til I need it... I make bundles and have some dry tinder with me at home and out. But I have never seen the diference shown/taught so well as in this video work. Thanks for taking your time to share this.

Man, I do like the ease of your fire making. The only problem I have is being in Western Australia, we don’t have the many tree that you describe. So, one needs to understand the native trees and bushes that we have. It is something I need to experiment with amongst the different eucalyptus trees around. Thank you.

This is what we teach our Cubs and Eagle scouts in Eastern Canada: we use very fine twigs from pine trees to start a fire. We also have loads of birch bark we can use.

Great explanation on showing the difference between tinder bundle and birdsnest, and the firelay that enhances each one. Received my zip hoodie yesterday.
