I love the dull, low sound of the guitar in this track. It sounds downright apocalyptic! It's a quiet, looming kind of dread as opposed to the faster and more chaotic melodies in Chainsaw Consultant songs
This boss took me 4 attempts. On the winning run my heart was beating so fast that I was struggling to type out my gag choices. I never would have anticipated Toontown of all games to give me such an adrenaline rush. For me this is definitely the best designed boss in Toontown because of it's gimmick. Usually when you die in Toontown it's because rng wasn't in your favor. But in my failed attempts, it really felt like *I* was at fault for not being able to properly coordinate and keep up. All of that to say...this update was DEFINITELY worth the wait
beat this fight finally the other day and gotta say. incredible theme for an INCREDIBLE fight. genuinely my favourite toontown boss fight by far and i don't know if anything will ever top this
That wailing guitar reminds me of Fancy Meat Computer and that entire soundtrack of psychedelic rock, something I didn't think was possible on a soundfont!
I'm surprised nobody mentioned that this sounds an awful lot like Antasma's theme from Dream Team. *Especially here* 1:15 Wait a second...Dream Team....Dreamland...the layers of irony are ceaseless.
I also kind of hear "Paint it Black" when I hear this song. Just a thought. I'd call it a hunch, but Pace literally darkens the room when this theme plays, so... Who knows?
Lots of songs find inspiration from others, it’s how some artists make them, this may be the case here, but most of the time you will find out artists will make music from scratch
