Hmm, probably not, I think it's what the upper classes want us to believe though, just my opinion of course However, I would say that a population in a successful contry is one that naturally increases over time. Lots of prices are high because new houses aren't built and demand is too high... I personally believe this is an inevitability if new children continue to be born. Blaming immigration is a great way for governments to cause citizens to look the other way, its my view that we should look at the legislation and incentives which prevent new houses from being built in the hopes of keeping housing prices high for the ruling class who prosper off this. Just my view 🙂
All I personally would say is, it's in the best interest of the ruling class property owners to keep prices high as this benefits them. Over time, if children keep being born, a population will naturally increase so without new housing stock, demand will always beat supply meaning those who own property charge more. Its just my view, but blaming immigration is an easy way for those in power to manipulate the citizens and stop them looking at the fact housing has been turned into a market for them to make money. They don't want new houses to be built but don't want the blame for it. Just my view
