My brother and his wife live in Corrales. They love it and have been they for almost 25 years. Got to visit them there and stay with them this year. Had a great time and my brother was my private tour guide! Their house is traditional southwestern style and beautiful and I plan to come back again to visit them. Can't wait.
Though I've moved away some time ago, your tour began just south of my road (Perea). The building of the first little group of shops that you showed was once owned by the mother of Saturday Night Live comedian Ana Gasteyer who operated that Corrales Bosque gallery back when her husband (Ana's father) was Mayor.
Hello there how are you doing, my New Mexico friend? We've driven through Corrales but I never gotten to explore, I have explored Bernalillo a little, I am so grateful for our rain it feels refreshing and I hope that it helps the fires in Northern NM
Lovely to see some rain there. Know Corrales very well. Got bitten by some red ants in the park there ended up in hospital. Seeing the church made me smile. My sense of direction is bad. The church was my landmark. My husband would say to me “ you know the church with the blue roof?” Then I knew where we were off to. Was transported back to life there for a short while . Thank you for making another nice video.
Loved it I use to live in Corrales in the 1960s, love that little village. Was hoping to see the galleries for I'm looking for one that specializes in things from Mexico. There's two but was hoping to see the names.
I just saw your video on Corrales. I’m trying to decide were I want to move. I don’t want to live in Albuquerque. I want to buy a mobile home and live in a mobile home park. Do you know if this area has anything like that. Thank you.
You're right. You do not want to live in Abq. Which is a shame, because it's the only real "metro" city in the state, but the seemingly endless shootings, robberies, drugged out homeless etc made it impossible for me to remain there.
That's way over stating the crime here. Yes, it's high for comparable to city's our size, but many 100s of thousands of people are happy in this beautiful city.
Despite being a part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area, the village maintains its rural character, while also being surrounded by the cities of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The population of Corrales was 8,329 at the 2010 Census. State: New Mexico Counties: Sandoval Area code: 505 en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki Corrales, New Mexico - Wikipedia
