@yanaunovanaileducator8016
@yanaunovanaileducator8016 3 года назад
@@Todomo try working one nail by one. Prep one nail, apply base coat to that one nail, and then continue to the next. Yes, it will take longer. But it should work for you. Also, make sure prepping the nails the right way - remove glance from natural nails with nail file 180-240 grit, filing in only one direction! This is very important (I'll cover this step in my next video, so please subscribe to my channel if you're interested), then sweep the dust off with a brush, spray alchohol, apply dehydrator as many times as needed for a nail to get whitish look. Then, try using acid free primer - apply a very thin layer of it, do not double the layer, then apply base coat. If product won't stay long even with such steps, try applying acid primer first, and then acid free primer. If it's an acrylic system, not gel, then instead of base coat just go ahead and apply acrylic. That should work 🌺 I'd really appreciate if you let me know weather it worked for you, if you try it of course

I can only imagine how relieved your client must have been after this transformation!!😅 I myself have similar natural nails that grow upward, but I am too much of a perfectionist and always end up shortening and re-extending my nails slightly downward. It’s definitely not the most time efficient way😂 but I rationalize that I need the practice... which is true... so 🤷‍♀️😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My nails are super weak under the gel. And of course, the gel was lifting from the cuticle end. I grabbed something heavy and it snapped my nail in half up to where the lift was. The pain was unusually ... painful. After a few moments, blood started to seep out the side 😬. I flushed that fast with soap and water before putting on bandaid to apply pressure. That wasn’t too difficult. But I can see the shadow of dried blood under the opaque gel.
