Honestly, what I love about Corrections is that we get a firsthand look at Seth's bond with his crew. The genuine fun they have, the playful jabs they throw, there is just something really fun about Seth telling an injoke that to the average viewer might not be very funny, but is absolutely hysterical to a handful of people in the room. I'm so glad there's no studio audience for this. That magic would be lost.

Literally just the _first five seconds_ of this episode -- "Hey, everybody, welcome to Corrections -- *_WE ALL IN???_* " -- so perfectly and succinctly captures the essence of _Corrections:_ Getting right down to business within the first five seconds, while 100% trusting that the viewing audience will immediately get a callback reference that only longtime, loyal viewers who have been watching every single monologue, _A Closer Look,_ and episode of _Corrections_ since SARS-CoV-2 first entered our collective consciousness would get. This is what makes this community of jackals feel like such an exclusive fraternity (or, less charitably, a cult)

I like to think that as these crew members sat and watched as their supervisor at work simulated precoital makeout activity with whimsical 3-d printed figurines complete with smooch sound effects supplied by their boss, it gave cause for more than one of them to reflect on the life journey that each of them in their own way undertook and the serendipitous turns of events that trsnspired, and conspired, over the course of their life to arrive at this peculiar and specific moment and snapshot in time

I love these because it evolved from the excellent, surreal Pandemic/post pandemic shows. It’s like a blanket fort we can all play in. And in case you wondered if it was just a bit, they really did send Jackal mugs to overseas Jackals who sent in a postcard. I treasure mine.

There's something so great about the absolute chaos that Corrections are - it reminds a bit of when stand up comics have those golden interactions with the audience, but unlike those, this doesn't depend on a lucky moment. @@Diphenhydra The bigger problem is that Fair use is a legal defense IN COURT, not in RU-vid. So RU-vid can (and will) take it down if they get a takedown request from the owner of the content in question. If RU-vid did not, they (and the person who uploaded it) could be sued for infringement, at which point they can use fair use as a defense. They (RU-vid, Seth) would win with a fair use defense, but not before all the lawyers got paid nicely.

I was just saying that the Jackals are correct in pointing out that there is protection for using copyrighted material on RU-vid and provided a good video if one wanted to learn about it because my simple reply was a simple reply. Yes, I know that companies will abuse the system anyway and in most cases it'll work because the system is broken, and even when it isn't the video views come a lot from the first few days. I do love the aviation lawyer, though I don't particularly remember him making a video about copyright aside from Twitch reaction recently.

Correction: Your three non-contiguous fingers is actual two non-contiguous fingers and a thumb. You just need to lower your middle or ringer finger, leaving one of the three fingers seperated from the other two. Interestingly, you can relax using a cool hand-trick. Put three fingers from one hand (they can be contiguous or not) against the underside of your other hand. Then hold them both over your head. Now you can relax under a palm-three.

Correction: Stevie Nicks wears shawls, not scarves. Shawls are a lot larger than scarves, and are worn around the shoulders, arms, back, etc. Scarves are smaller and worn around the neck, or occasionally on the head as hair decorations. But most importantly, so glad to have Seth and Corrections back!!!!! I missed Corrections so much! Seth is the best!! ❤🥰💖😊💗 Thank you for doing Corrections, it's my favorite thing to watch.

Roc and I had tix to see Seth Meyers on March 2nd. The night before, Seth suspended the show production in solidarity with the Writers Union strike. Having been a NWUmember very briefly, I could hardly complain. Finally we got re-ticketed and attended the taping on Tuesday. It was quite fun, and I picked up an awesome LNSM “Corrections Jackals” mug at the NBC store. It was straaangely amusing. Although I once stood in line behind Seth at the Bank Street Coffee House in New Milford, I was reminded in person how tall he is.

The only reason I watch Corrections is because I miss the cozy nature of the limited audience with their genuine laughter. One of the very few good things that came out of the pandemic were the changes to late night shows. I’m so grateful Seth chose to stay with casual clothes at least. I wish Kimmel and Colbert had stayed with the casual clothes.

loved the joke, but saying “in my defense, they just take me to the luxury box” is still acknowledging that you not only know there are ushers, but that you interact with them as they take u to the luxury box.

My opinion is because it's so genuine. I mean, he writes it himself. They all love each other. They have no idea what he's gonna say but they hang around to hear it KNOWING that this is what the fans are gonna see, so he plays to us AND them. It's pretty unique. It's fucking cool the way he's created this beautiful monster. He's literally talking to us WHILE doing his best to also entertain his best buds. It's an intimacy that you can't get anywhere. It's quite amazing. I'm genuinely proud of him.

As one of the Lego "psychos", the Lego guy is called a minifigure. Haha Also, the full title of the Green Day song is "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)". They definitely knew what they were doing when they named that song, and it's pretty easy to identify at karaoke night.
