My brother is a Child Specialist and I am proud to say that 40 percent of his is patients are poor and he does not charge any fees. Moreover the Pharmacist in his Clinic sells Generic drugs/ discounted medicines and the patients are very happy to buy them. Other patients get 48 hrs free consultation.

There must be a separate medical store for poor people where the medicines would be provided freely. This could be the success for the lives of millions of poor families and they can live peacefully.

The people who can afford medicines however would go to the store and take the medicines claiming they are poor... some would go further and get some older clothes and really prove it. This would be a great idea but there are scammers who are waiting for such opportunities.

This would NEVER happen in the UK. In the UK we are blessed to have the National health service- the envy of the world. Healthcare for citizens is free at the point of need paid for out of taxes and it is worth it! When my Dad had cancer he had 1st class treatment free of charge all the way through his care. By comparison, I have friends in the USA who have had to remortgage their homes to pay for treatment. AS Nijo says this is something that every country in the world should follow. Instead of paying silly money on silly wars that nobody wants or benefits from we should use that money to fund an NHS in every country in the world.

Apollo pharmacy 80 rs only for 2 karvonil capsules and 2 cold tablets !! I threw the tablets and took money. A local pharmacy took 26 rs for 8 cold tablets , & 3 cofsils

This situation is the same in the government hospital of Delhi. बाबा भीमराव अंबेडकर हॉस्पिटल always denies the major medicines. They always say that they are out of stock and you need to buy it from outside.

It happened to me when I was small I went with my maid to get medicine, in India chemist gave me expiry date he saw expiry date and he gave me medicine said all good he checked expiry date I came home. My mother checked the expiry she fumed and immediately she went to the shop and scolded him just for money he sold an expiry item Actually he did on purpose he though a maid is illiterate and from poor family cheating will help . In some cases poor get cheated whereas in some cases poor (so called relatives) people cheat and grab nri's property by making fraud papers without no monetary transaction just by making (fake money transfer)on agreement of sale grab nri's hardearned property or death persons property and cheating govt and the legal heirs Very sad it still exists in India and the lower court by the opponent party just takes date and wastes the time by earning rent without informing the govt that the nri's stolen property is on rent Sad very sad
