Thank you for this content. The Karnataka state government officials, especially the ones in charge of constructing roads, need to desperately see this. Hère in the city of Bangalore, We have had so many promises from officials, of removing potholes, in the last 7 years, and yet more potholes get formed every other day. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I am not saying they haven’t tried, but when they do try, they continue using substandard materials. (Makes you think of the saying. I don’t know what is worse. The cold? Or the cure?).

As an Engineering manager I sometimes have pressure or encounter people who try to compromise the safety and health of others. I teach my teams I lead in India and the United States that safety and health are the absolute most important things, and to report immediately to me any pressure they feel to reduce safety and health. Then I can ensure that the project is either fixed - or stopped - until safety is the focus. And I can and have stopped projects, even when my job was threatened, in order to ensure safety. What use is having a job if you have lost your honor? As Engineers I teach them karma has nothing to do with it. You do not protect the lives, health, and safety out of a sense of reward or personal gain or bragging. You protect others because it is simply the right thing to do. It is a matter of personal honor in the profession of Engineering. जय माता काली

In China, this corrupt politician will be executed for his crimes. India really need to get tough on corruption; a jail term is too light on this politician when so many people died because of his corruption. A true story. A banana producer in a village was using toxic chemicals to ripe those bananas early. He was a whole seller. Local school bought those bananas for school lunch. Several students got sick consuming the fruits and a boy and a girl died. The boy was the son of the banana producer. The story is so sick and sad. Sometime people knowingly dig their own grave.
