I am in a situation where i changed my job in the policeforce and people still keep trying to discredit me and my work,even If i am no longer their day to day collegue and try to harm me through my new collegues,some of which are their friends.fron what i know i can try to ignore them and pray with psalms and continue life.Please pray for me too.❤

Does the Bible not say there is no one between man and God but the God man Jesus. And yet the Catholic have a confessional to the priest then to God

Yes that is true, the Catholic religion made human(s) the mediator and has stifled the words of God to the laity. As a Christian channel we spread the true word of God to everyone who has an ear to hear. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is mediator between man and God. 1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

@@JigglyPuff117he's not in communion with the orthodox church, though I do enjoy a lot of what he says on a personal level. That said, yes, the orthodox church does have confessions to a priest. John 20 19-23 shows that Jesus gives the apostles the ability to forgive sins. The reason why both orthodox and catholics emphasize apostolic succession is because that authority given by Christ, to the apostles, has been passed down for 2000 years. That same authority Christ gave to his apostles is given to each bishop through the laying on of hands. Those bishops delegate authority to the priests who often hear our confessions. I will say that a big difference between catholic confession and orthodox confession is that the catholic confession is more about paying a price for your sin. A punishment. While orthodox confessions, while still having penance, is more medicinal in its approach.

It make me sad when I hear a priest or a pastor critical about other pastor or priest. Who are they to judge a servant of God. Are they above the law? Are they mandated by God to judge? Jesus alone has the right to judge. He will take care of everyone on the day of judgement. I am a child of God for more 45 yrs and never said something against a pastor. Never, never. It is a golden rule. If you do not agree with someones teaching, go elsewhere.
