Finally, someone who understands the threat to the safety of the public. We can go on all day about qualified immunity, but the issue stems from the unions forcing, or blackmailing, municipalities to keep on or rehire complete tyrants. People who let the sliver of power go completely to their heads. People who would be serving life without, if it wasn't for that badge.
The lawmakers who oversee all police, judges, lawyers are responsible for knowing what occurs below them. Key word ( below ). We are dealing with power. Cops are just the bottom feeders of our lower case gods. People with power have a god complex. They could care less about the incompetent immoral slaves they hire and pay to become lawyers judges cops. You will address all branches and leaves by addressing the root.
Off buttons should only be used while off duty, like lunch breaks and bathroom breaks. Turning them off at any other time is tampering with evidence and the case should be thrown out. @@ChrisTietjen_00
there should be such button put instead of turning off the cam it should be streamed and recorded on a public server for everyone to watch@@ChrisTietjen_00
That good, smart people don't last long when leadership is as bad as this cop. And that's why they keep rehiring bad cops, because they are the only ones dumb enough to keep coming back.
Problem is they spend close to 100,000 $ on training these monsters and P Departments that are low in cash they hire them , hopping they can manage them . Once they are fired, they should lose their peace officer permit period .
After she got reinstated she felt she was untouchable and could get away with anything, and her specialty is ruining people’s lives and violating their rights, I’m surprised that nobody has caught up to her yet, what level of disgust she has risen to is really sickening to say the least!
The chances of qualified immunity being abolished are low. Conservatives (Republicans) hold the majority and they like to keep things the way they are. There is a reason why every cop is a Republican.
congratualations!, you're the one millionth person to post that. it's a great point but moot at this point . we'll have to wait for a supreme court justice to get screwed !!!
absolutely, 100% its time for accountability, like every other human has on their job. why are police allowed to violate our rights over and over and over again. ????
Calling her a “lady” is being very kind. She spat more times than a person with pneumonia, she’s disgusting and just never should’ve been reinstated as a police officer. I feel for those that have encountered her on stops. What a disgrace to the true good officers that are out there.
yarmulkas not badges , the small hats took over and privatized the police in 1915 when they created the fop police union and placed it under their freemason umbrella. the chief does not hire, he only recommends, the mayors are the ones that actually do the hiring . police contracts are good for one year only and the mayor appoints 3 city council to negotiate the contracts, one republican, one democrat and one at large . you want real change get your own candidates to run, be sure they are not pro union or pro israel and tht they can pretend to be union/israel suckups to get the votes then once elected disband the police immediately . and put into effect that any new police shall be hired individually and they must carry their own liability insurance and can have no tattoos and must have a degree in constitutional rights and no unions and cannot take home any city equiptment including but not limited to guns and vehicles and cannot wear their uniform off duty .
For those of you who did not stick around until the end it gets worse. The pos officers never actually file the bogus charges against Mata. He was let go but because the arrest was in the system it showed him with an active warrant. So because of the active warrant he got pulled over again and cuffed and stuffed again only to be let go again. This man had his rights severely violated, cuffed and stuffed 2X for nothing!
I believe this is no clerical error, either. The infamous case where cops assaulted the elderly woman with dementia, and then laughed and celebrated her injuries, conveniently "mislabeled" their body cam footage. It was "lost" for months. The recent scandal where it was discovered that cops were writing thousands of bogus tickets was also considered to be clerical, but the sheer numbers made it impossible to be so.
I could not stop laughing, I need to look at your tattoos, Answer: I got one on my b-hole, you can't see it, look closer, you got to get really close.. Whoops I got it lasered off... I forgot.🤣🤣
There's a small town in Texas where the majority of cops are miscreants, previously fired from their jobs. When interviewed by the media, the chief just stated that he believed in giving everyone a second chance. Common knowledge that a cop can shoot a baby in the face and still keep their jobs so to be fired in the first place means those cops are the worse of the worst.
That's why their pensions should be attached to these lawsuits that the taxpayers has to pay for their misconduct...at least a percentage....Maybe they would behave and learn that their not Gods but real people just like the public they serve, this way the good cops wouldn't have nothing to worry about.
It should be illegal for the individual officer to mute their camera. Any edits should be done by higher authority, with the entire event recording preserved for court review if needed. With no repercussions to the individual officer this will continue to happen, end qualified immunity. With false arrest and imprisonment - the offending officer needs to serve the same exact amount of time and get their vehicle towed.
Exactly. The cameras should be automatically on without the ability to mute or turn off from the start of their shift to the end. The video should be automatically uploaded to the department and a 2nd citizen organization.
Anytime a police officer intentionally mutes or turns off their body cam for any reason, that should be grounds for dismissal of anything they charge you with.
Change in laws like qualified immunity will not happen. Conservatives (Republicans) hold the majority and they like keeping things the way they are. That's what conservatism means. There is a reason why every cop is a Republican. They know that qualified immunity will never be abolished under Republicans.
Cops ALWAYS back each other,no need looking for a decent human. That is also why there are NO GOOD COPS. Also what was the actual point in treating the guy like that?
I don't know why you take anyone to jail for this, it all just seems punitive and in retaliation for questioning anything, and that's questionable and confusing when the sergeant should know her history? And it's unproductive to arrest people for such frivolous things that they may not have control over. But once again if you can't get your city persons to put laws on the book that make common sense and allowances. For people who have a car that's theirs and they need to drive "and don't have an address" why aren't we doing something to help?
When an officer sees another doing something illegal there should be a legal burden placed upon them to do something - if not they get charged as well. We need quasi-criminal laws against LEO and prosecutor malfeasance.
@@Mark_317 there is an argument to be made for private moments that are not police related. Such as using the restroom while on duty. Taking a private phone call from a family member. These are moments that should not be subject to public record. That being said. The intentional act of turning off video or muting sound during the course of official police business is and should be nothing less than evidence tampering. Which is a felony in all 50 states. As a civilian, if I were to tamper with official evidence then I would absolutely be charged with a crime. We need to start advocating for charges in these moments. We control the police. We set the pace. It's time to start an accountability movement in this country. Accept nothing less and call or every instance.
They stopped qualified immunity in the uk 🇬🇧 many yrs ago The uk police are nowhere near as evil & barbaric as USA cops but their behaviour improved dramatically If you can grab someone’s pension the cops will yes sir no sir they’ll be terrified of us and police properly
It's not about qualified immunity per se. It's because conservatives (Republicans) like to keep things the way they are. They like the lack of accountability.
@@showwhite7320bro you are brainwashed for sure. Not one democrat or republican has been worried about qualified immunity, its all lip service for idiots like you.

I've noticed a lot of these female cops go above and beyond to prove to the male co-workers how they can take charge in a citizen encounter. Completely unnecessary.
Most of them are lesbians with the attitude that they can do everything better than men can. I’m a gay man and I know a lot of female cops that are just like this. They all have this undeserved sense of self worth.
I can’t even imagine what used to go down before the body cams. I myself got beat up by 5 under covers for telling them I’m not getting out my truck till I talk to my lawyer.
I am 68 years old And lived my young life through the 70s and 80s into the 90s And I can tell you before body cams It was a brutal bitch out there. It would take me 100 plus pages just to write out my negative experiences with the executive and judicial.
Terry v. Ohio is unjust and routinely abused to justify unlawful orders to stop and search. The kangaroo courts who allow this color of law interpretation are biased judges who have prosecutorial backgrounds and prosecute from the bench.
It definitely is, however, the police do not relinquish the body cam footage without first editing it in their favor, so what's the real point if the public can't get the unedited footage?
@@gearmeister Like when the cops murdered Steve Perkins in Decatur, Al on September 29. The nieghbor across the street stood on his porch and recorded the whole thing. That is why the mayor and chief have had to keep backing down and admitting lies. I believe they will try valiantly to get out of what they've done but hopefully, since we've all viewed the real footage, they may not win...maybe. They've refused to release the bodycams. They've probably already deleted and edited them and they don't match the real one. They're trying to downplay that they had the wrong address. They're not even addressing the fact that the video shows that the cops stood and watched the tow thief steal Steve's truck. YOU CANNOT TRUST THE CITY.

They are trained to do what they do. This is a classic example of cops turning citizens into criminals. FN sad. This dude did nothing to deserve jail. No license? That doesn’t require jail. He went to jail because of dirty cops. Cops are dirty. Once they complete the academy and field training, they see themselves as part of the gang and develop the us against them mentality. They have no respect for citizens anymore. They lie to protect their own and will never correct their own. They don't care about us. When they are bored and can't find a real criminal, we all become targets of their antics. We become their prey. They are hunters. We gotta change the training. 🤔

To Taylor Stephens: If you pull a law-abiding citizen over for a traffic stop, you issue them a traffic ticket instead of just pulling them out of their vehicle and place them in handcuffs. The real reason why you got fired from your law-enforcement career in the first place is because you are completely deranged enough to earn yourself a lifetime stay inside of the psychiatric ward of your local hospital. In fact, thanks to this video, you again lost your law-enforcement career and earned yourself a lifetime stay inside of the psychiatric ward of your local hospital and you even dragged your best friend into this situation by discriminating against law-abiding citizens.
she just doesn't think she is wrong. she has a complete misunderstanding of how she is supposed to interact with the public and her mission as a police officer entirely. i'm not sure it is fixable unless there is some sort of unlikely breakthrough in her own mind.
Nice idea, but cops don't take complaints over the phone. And in most cases, not even in person. There are tons of videos showing the hoops people have to go through to do so.
I'm a female. Having said that, this little girl (cause she's not a real woman) is more dangerous than a lot of male police. Because, her ego WILL make it that much worse because she thinks she can move so quickly to taking control by breaking laws immediately, in my opinion, making her more likely to actually kill someone.
Agree 💯 percent. She is overstepping her authority. Lying to build cases, more than likely racial profiling. Another out of control psychopathic maniac with a gun. That will end in murder if she isnt caught, fired, charged, arrested and sent off to prison where she belongs.
This video pissed me off so much, she acting all high and mighty just because she has power over people, such disgusting behavior and then coming up with lies as well
Funny thing is they don’t have power it’s that is the people especially blacks and other races you find in the ghetto are not organized so we have no power.
Both her and her partner needs to be fire and never become officers again. This is so very sad that this department has done nothing with this two officers. If anything at the very least with her. She is the officer that gives ALL officers a bad name. Disappointing, disgraceful and disgusting person she is!
Who do these thugs think they are helping? They are clearly obviously wrong, and yet they just double down and keep violating this man's rights. Disgusting
These cops know very well that they're trumping up bogus charges. They even admits it on their own bodycams. This is a tragedy and they're doing it because Manuel Mata is also an auditor who has exposed the crime of the police before. The trumped up charges are purely retalitory. Of course he shouldn't drive without a license or with a broken headlight, but the rest? The rest are pure evil due to him holding them accountable.
If you are going to monitor the police you'd better make double sure you are squeaky clean and fully legal or you are putting yourself in grave danger in an occupation that is already extremely dangerous even if you are completely above board.
No way they pull him over for a warrant afterwards when he didn't even get charged for the first arrest. Just another indication these clowns don't know what they're doing. Be safe out there y'all. ☠
They mess with Mata all the time! He was watching the trial of an officer and the judge was told to swear him in as a witness, but he refused, and the judge revoked his bond and put him in jail! The cops set this up! They are nothing but bad apples! 🖕🏽🫵🦹♀️👮♀️
If you know Mr Mata, tell him he can always plead the 5th. So if he ever is called to be a witness again, he should just smile and comply, then just plead the 5th and sit there quiet
@@jamesbroomfield7799Unfortunately, that is not how it works. When you receive a subpoena to testify, you have a legal duty to tell the truth in court. The only exception is when your answer would incriminate yourself, in which case you can invoke the 5th amendment. However, if you lie or refuse to answer without a valid reason, you may face charges of perjury or contempt of court.

@@jamesbroomfield7799 He didn't even refuse, he said something like he didn't think he could agree to anything without consulting an attorney first and was immediately arrested. His only connection to the case was he was a spectator in the court for a police officer's murder trial, and the defense had him and numerous other spectators sworn in, or tried to, because they claimed they wanted to make a record about their excuses for trying to get a change of venue because they thought Mata was sitting somewhere too close to the killer's family or something (you can se where they were, the murderer's family was at the front, he was at the back, it's total nonsense). Pure harassment and intimidation from a police union lawyer against a cop watcher that they really really hate.
It would appear that Manuel Mata is doing a great job as an auditor and cop watcher. The amount of illegal actions taken against him by Texas Law Enforcement is amazing. Talking to the cops is an exercise in futility. They mean to be unreasonable and untruthful and manipulative, so you're just wasting your time and your hopes.
Why is it when you question an officer they refer it to being difficult? We suppose to stand on our head if that's what they say? I call it POWER of that badge going to their head!!
What really bothers me is that both cops and a supervisor go along with this. She didn't even tell him why she put him in cuffs. I hope she's fired for good.
The fact that she still on the force after that dude died while in detention, I would say morally and financially the state or county or city should be responsible for anything that happens with her after that and I’m talking massive lawsuits. They’ve chosen to keep a bad cop on the force, somebody has proven that they are not moral or ethical enough to do the job. The fact is the only people who should be police are probably the best of society. Of course then we would have almost nobody escapes because modern humanity sucks!

The fact they are using private mobile phones to communicate when we spend so much tax money on police equipment is a sure fire sign they are dping something they know they arnt ment to do.
And muting expensive recording equipment that provides an accurate & transparent record of arrests at will. Pretty gross to see 2 cops stop discussing what happened on the arrest when 1 realizes their cam is still on.
When cops tell you to get out of the car, you can expect they are getting ready to escalate the encounter and most likely end up violating your rights.
Future bodycams will be controlled by dispatchers. Turn ‘OFF’ requests would be made verbally over the radio. This will put an end to corrupt officer conversations, and be time-stamped. Technology already supports this ability.
This is, when cops break Law. Thank you Audit Archive, for showing the world, we have to see the injustice, so we can make a decision, for ourselves. Freedom, she needs all the help she came get, especially right now.

She even asked her supervisor if she should "keep rolling" hoping to turn off her body camera to further conspire against Mr. Mata with no record to prove it. This cop should never have gone into law enforcement since she is more criminal than a public servant.
By turning their cameras off that's audio or video it's Lying by omittance so they should be held responsible it makes me sick that they can just step all over everybody's rights
Its honestly fucking astonishing to me that they even have the capability to turn their bodycams off themselves and that there isn't some safeguard in place making that impossible. Huge problem right there, and kind of against the entire damn point of a bodycam. The police should be surveilled at all times as a job condition if they are incapable of presenting themselves decently, its that simple.
A lot of judges are corrupt, but if I was a judge and a there was a case before me and the police had muted or turned off their cameras, I would throw the case out and charge the officer with contempt, (and the police favorite thing), obstruction.
She knows that if she turns off her body cam then the supervisor will help her embellish, or falsify her report to justify her arrest and illegal searches.
