Yes, I couldn't film the border officer but once he had our passports demanded a stamp fee, I negotiated that the kids were free and he accepted. And trust me there were noisy tourists, a group of about 20 started drinking at 9:30 in the morning and went for the 7 hours of the journey, each day. I decided to cut it because families with young kids watch our videos.
I played Skip-Bo once at a family reunion, and I remember it was great fun. My guess for that big fish at the market is a Mekong Giant Catfish? They reach 650 pounds. This monster fish is the first thing I thought of when I saw you were on the Mekong River, since it is the only thing I knew about the river!
