It is hard to follow her as she does not use punctuation. Ms. Lie Nette is clearly off her rocker and should be committed to a nut house, not a prison. Even the prisoners on death row should not have to be subjected to this woman. I feel so bad for her little girl. For one, the town can't give themselves permits that have to come from the county/state; two, the current mayor is the only one who was upholding and properly following sunshine laws. I just found this channel a few months back so I'm sure I have missed a lot but I had no idea until tonight the water problem is a decade old, and did I hear correctly there was a request for public records lawsuit 10 years ago too?

It's fascinating finding out how you run your local towns/villages in the US. In the UK we have something similar called Parish Councils, but they are very, very different and would never be responsible for water, roads, police, enforcements, fire service, as that is always covered by our main area County Councils paid for via something called council taxes. Our parish councils are only responsible for little local things like playgrounds, community halls, and the like and have only small budgets that they get via a proportion of the council tax collected by the County Councils. The US system seems like a bit of a post code (zipcode) lottery, in that it depends where you live on how good a service you receive.

That email was one very long run on sentence. I can't imagine what the minutes looked like that she took that one night. When they merged 3 councils in our area , into one we lost the police the station is only used highway patrol. Our council closed and 2nd town also closed the third town has the Council and police 25 mins away from us.
