Well, I have lived in the south (Georgia) and in the country all my life. Out of just simple respect, you always contact the property owner even if they are your neighbor and have said you can be there any time you want. Growing up, I had permission to hunt and fish on other people's property but would always let them know prior to being there. It just comes down to simple RESPECT!

Your new sign should say private property, no trespassing any cars parked, will be towed

Respect seems to be a lost art. We tried to instill respect for law enforcement, military, and others and their property into our children. When I knew we must have done okay is when I see my grandchildren going out of the way to help others. My 5 year old grandson did his absolute best to open the door for a woman the other day. He was struggling. She realized what he was doing and said if she helped him get it open a little more, she would appreciate him holding it open. That did so much for his little heart! There was mutual respect there and there needs to be more. My parents always told me to assume nothing.

That's an accident waiting to happen or an invitation to steal the car. I agree that you need to change the sign to say private property. Or make it a parking lot and charge anyone who parks there. Get yourself a set of 6 foot pallet forks for your loader and your tractor and your loader would be able to pick it up then take it out to the road or on the state right away and he will find out the difference of state property and private property. I've experienced the SAME EXACT THING here in SC with a house I bought in a small town in Leesville. The funeral home next door was using my driveway and they just started taking over my whole property and would get mad and rude with me if I would say something. How dare I not let them do whatever they wanted!! Up north people knew better but down south who ever lived there longer has rights to everything whether you pay for it or not... lol... I'm a transfer from up north myself. I've had many many cars towed in my career as a commercial property manager. After a few interactions like this one, I adopted a policy of trying one time to find the owner. If I could contact them I'd tell them they had a very limited time to move the vehicle. If things went smoothly, OK. If they came off rudely, like that jerk, I'd tow the car and have the tow company tow it to the farthest impound lot they had. If they came onto the property and acted like Davis did I'd trespass them so they couldn't come back. Since this is Florida, touching you like he did is illegal and it was witnessed by a law enforcement officer. You certainly could have him cited for that. You showed more restraint than the jerk deserved. Keep up your good work and keep making these greatnvideos. I Limited time

You need a few signs that Say Private Property No trespassing No parking. With out express permission of the owner. ALL VEHICLES will be towed at the owner's expense.

He should have walked right to the police officer and said I want to file charges for assault. A person CANNOT touch you at all unless asking first and you give verbal permission to do so any other physical contact especially unwanted physical contact after a verbal altercation is considered assault.

One of my cars died recently in between counties, and I spent about 30 minutes trying to find the right LE department to call and speaking to different dispatchers. I told each one, in four differennt departments my story, make/model/year/color, the mile marker, and the direction of which highway, and where on the road it was, and exactly when I could get there to have it towed to the mechanic. (It was awful timing!) Turns out the only department that gave no promises was the one I feared the most, and had put several stickers on the window, and I was on the last day. They were about to tow it anyway. It was only over a long weekend because my husband is a nurse, and works 7 day/12 hr shifts, then a much shorter week, and he was in the middle of his long week shift. If I'd have had a place to stop where the owner of the property was understanding, and not going to have me towed in a hurry, I'd have sighed a huge sigh of relief! Then I'd have gone back with some delicious baked goods, because in the south, if you're truly doing it right, you really do show some southern hospitality! That man is an entitled p.r.i.c.k. And I'm grateful anytime Jeremy shows his Haleslacious side.

I live out on a country road, in PA game lands. I have NEVER had anyone park there vehicles on my acreage. Don't even need no trespassing signs. Most ppl up north seem to know not to do that.

Jeremy and George, i moved from Colorado to Georgia about 18 months ago. I have NEVER been treated as poorly as i have been in the "south." Im disabled and on a fixed income and can't afford to move again......but im doing everything possible to get the flock out out of here. Im miserable beyond words. My plan is to leave by August 1st. I've been to Cedar Key before. Those people are on a whole different timeline. Ordered clam chowder at Tony's and it took them over 2 hours to get it out. Even though it was delicious, I couldn't shop at the rest of the stores in town like I wanted to. That being said, I agree with others that putting a private property sign up might be the best idea. If not on the main sign, put it up on sign posts at the driveways. Or both. On the sign you could put the office number, like "call ___ for permission. All others will be towed at owner's expense."

We live on 10 wooded acres in Michigan (surrounded by another 34 acres). We still have the survey stakes on the west side of our property. Someone was hunting on our property which made me upset because we have a friend that hunts it. I took all their stuff just so they knew I knew they were there. They never came and asked for it, so I know they knew they were trespassing. Just from a safety standpoint, people need to be respectful of others and stay on their own land. Ughh, I feel for you guys. How frustrating!!!

That former mayor has "entitlement" ingrained in his ways and he's thinking how dare you not pay him the "good 'ol boy" respect he thinks he deserves.

I came from Texas to Tennessee, and the neighbors would have their guest park in my driveway blocking my cars. I came out of the door in true Texas style and told them to get off my property. They encroach on each other's property like nothing I've ever seen. I've never seen this before.
