I recently played my Corrupting Influence pre-con (no upgrades) deck against the Rebellion Rising pre-con (no upgrades) deck and lost immensely (I took something like -72 health on the final blow). My friend has since upgraded his deck and I thought I should do the same. I followed your upgrades and made a few slight changes.... I finished playing him tonight and I won flawlessly. This deck has the ability to hold its own using the pillow fort style. Koskun falls and planewide celebration were game-enders for my opponent. I'd love to see a build around Skrelv. For other commanders Malcator, Otharri , Ria Ivor, and Graaz are probably my favorites of the set

Damn, this deck got so much poison my notifications broke again. Bad jokes aside, amazing video as always! As for the vote, I will pick Ovika because spellslinging in the way she does it is pretty fun. No, not Okiva, but Ovika :) Day 549 of waiting for the face reveal. Say, what exactly is your favourite kund of commander deck? The card draw engine? The swarm instigator? Something else?

There are a couple of the removed cards I would have kept and one is Unnatural Selection. Recursion is super important and cutting a lot of it seems weird to me. I also like Vat Emergence because it get things from other graveyards albeit it being slow , but it is highly costed so I would probably remove it too Also I prefer Expand the Sphere to Kodama's reach in almost any circumstance for this particular deck. The upside of being able to get from possibly 1 counter to Corrupted state seems good enough to me It is also a shame that Infectious Bite is not really good in the deck, because adding a poison counter to everyone seems good, but the creature are generally small so they can't really remove opponents creature :( Carnivorous Canopy could be a "bad removal" that would also fit the theme and add proliferation to the deck. Like I would switch putrefy or mortify maybe ?? Drown in Ichor would also be another thing I would 100% Include. Killing a lot of creature -4/-4 is generally killing most thing I see on commander tables while proliferating Also no Bloated Contaminator in the possible upgrade. 4/4 Trample with Toxic and proliferate seems so good for this deck Staff of compleation acting as both a mana rock and a proliferator seems also possible include if the price stay low-ish ? Also Skrelv's hive if the price go down is also pretty nice for the deck. Rest is spot on Also unsure about the keeping the Pillowfort-y creature effects , but tbh I'm not a fan of them in general. Great job like always. I love your videos :D I'm just nitpicking :D

Been wondering if phyrexian vindicator would be a worthwile addition to this kind of deck kinda brutal to have such a heavy swinger that cant take damage with poision counters

I've just played against this deck and it will certainly benefit from the the early creatures that grants Posion counters. Also Yawgmoth would be a great upgrade for the deck, especially as a means to get value from sub par creatures we might steal from opponents

Would Elesh Norn mother of machines be a solid upgrade to this deck.?

Malcator or Glissa would be pretty cool!

I loved this deck and was wondering if you can make or have made a serious life swap deck, where the goal is to lose your life and swap it with the other players…if you’ve made a deck like this before, please let me know and I will def check it out. So far all I’ve seen are references to what you could build a deck like this out if, but nothing definitive. Also would a deck like that be able to hold its own in commanders?

Ovika sounds like fun. Brudiclad could also make the tokens into bigger things

I know Vishgraz is the more popular one, but Ixhel to me is more fun.

As much as I’d like to make this, my group generally wins with combos and combat isn’t common. Makes the pillowfort parts of it less valuable. Looks really interesting though. Thanks!

I’ve been working on that deck for over a year and have damn near every card you can imagine that would be a beneficial piece of the puzzle. However, I’m now at the point where I can’t seem to decide which cards are the most important and put together the final 99. Let me know if this is something that interests you!

I know it's not from Phyrexia, but I'd love to see what you would do with Jorn, God of Winter! Especially the front side of untapping all snow permanents each time he attacks! So I haven’t settled in a build just yet (waiting for a few cards to show up still, plus I ended up with like 130 cards to choose from…and I only have room for 99 lol) but you have chosen alot of cards that I went for with Vishgraz which I find interesting. I’m trying to focus more on token doubling and less on the blink effects from your other video, but I’m running (potentially) a lot of the creatures you have here in Vishgraz (running Ixhel in the 99 to try). Though to be fair my build isn’t budget. Going with Blightsteel, Skittles, Anointed Procession, Parallel Lived and fetch lands so we’ll see how it plays out lol.

Vishgraz is the better commander.
