In the world of Terraria, there are two evil biomes that spread and infect the surrounding area. Both are equally dangerous and have their own characteristics and uniqueness such as enemies, loot, weapons, bosses and many more! However, even though they are broadly the same, they still have differences and to find out which is better we have to observe them in detail. So in this video we will decide which one is better. I remind you again that this video is intended to entertain, everyone has different opinions so don't take it seriously.

When I first played Terraria. All I knew of was Crimson. Only about 3 weeks after playing I discovered the Corruption. I was brought into this game with the blood and flesh and will stay with it. Once a crimson boi, always a crimson boi.

Did you know: There was originally going to be an alternative to the Hallow called the Confection. It was a candy themed biome that would have turned the whole world into sweets

Honestly sounds like a neat counter part for the crimson , sweet pleasant and inviting food biome vs a disgusting, rotting and unwelcoming flesh biome

Corruption is for those who play ranger, because the gun damage are higher. And crimson for melee because sword damage are higher.

Crimson is very nice because they dig out the arena for you already you just need platforms. If I had to choose a favorite I would be hard pressed tho because they’re Very balanced. I would say corruption because clinger staff is my favorite weapon

They require no skill to use as u can just hold down attack and heal urself while doing good damage

its self-heal cheese. if u just play slow u can beat most bosses. but for me its not the reason i like crimson. there is many reasons such as the terrain, weapons, better stats... etc. but the most important thing for me is the ichor. u can use it with any class(ichor flasks, ichor ammunition, golden shower...) and its pretty strong even in end game.

It also depends on your class. If you’re mage go for corruption, becayse there are mana focussed accessories such as the band of starpower (I think it’s called like that), but also magic weapons.

Honestly, a worldgen option that *isn't* drunk seed that lets us get both corruptions (as well as maybe both sets of metals? perhaps?) would be nice

I pick crimson than the corruption because of the crimson color of the grass and other blocks And it even has better loot!

I think both have good Music, but Crimson music's best part comes too late which makes many people dont like it. Personally I like it due to it being scarier, but thats just me. Also, I think this is a question that is subjective.

to me, corruption is better, have better ranged weapon when you broke an orb, the drop from the boss its better, and in hardmode you can just make a farm to crimson mimics

the brain of confusion lets you dodge all damage with a 1 in 6 chance, which is vital for things like Master mode where 17% damage reduction doesn't save you from a flying tortoise dealing 600 base damage to you.

@@pi7855I rather have a guaranteed 17% damage reduction than a 1/6 chance I won't get hit, even tho I drop both accessories early into hard mode except sometimes the worm scarf for the twins and queen slime than I'll replace it for more damage accessories

@@-Thunderstorm- past the point of pre-mech hardmode worm scarf is useless, but brain of confusion can carry to engame and that's why it gets nerfed more harshly than worm scarf in mods like Eternity mode which are meant to make the game more difficult and balanced
