Awesome video bud! that intake plate will surely be me next mod, as my alternator went bad and my car is already sitting in the garage on jackstands. Keep these videos up mate, ur content is on top, Ive never found such easy guides like your videos for mods on the Isuzu lump. This project your doing will surely be one hell of a motor, I have a mate here in Malta, has an astra g fitted with a gtb1756vk, a calibra gearbox and many other mods, he is pushing about 220bhp, considering a stock engine is 75bhp thats quite a difference :D
Andrew thanks appreciate it!! Definitely do the INTAKE plate , gut the catylst & fit an MBC. All Free power right there!! . The worst part is getting the INTAKE manifold off. accessing the bottom bolts isn't easy. 1/4" drive ratchet with Angle/swivel bit is needed. Also pull out the foam insert that sits between the manifold & timing belt cover to reveal another bolt. Can't wait to make the corsa proper quick. Working full time so don't get much time at the garage unfortunately but will try make a how to for the intake mod etc.....
@@BOB-gu5qf Yea those intake bolts are quite hard to get to, Ive tried to spot them out when I took out the rocker cover gasket but could not even see them. thanks for the tip mate

Yo lee it sure is cheers lol. it runs awesome now considering it's still the 65bhp/stock map😂.Have a gt1749v here but its VNT so will see. Hopefully vxr k03 hybrid setup eventually. How's the combo goin?
@@BOB-gu5qf ay pal combos going strong still.. shit afew turbos like but easy fixes.. I have the pd 150 turbo from a leon and vnt controller from eBay real quick van had afew more maps from Liam aswell to get the fuel correct.. surprised afew people with the power 😁
Lee awesome dude its almost same turbo! I pulled the 1749vnt off a pd130.lol. Was it boost spike was killing them? Also which vnt controller you running? Ace! Sleeper status in the vans & get her stripped out aswell!! Less weight=faster😂👍
I own a vectra a gt (cavalier there) and astra gsi both c20ne gasoline with cat. But sometime ago im feeling the need of get a diesel for remap etc... but i dpubt because realivity and police tickets... Are the isuzu engines good¿? Would you choose astra g/f or cavalier¿? They want to ban diesels here maybe thats why i want one...
Oldskool Hi & awesome i love cavaliers my brother had a few Of them years ago. The Isuzu engine's are great, many of them still going strong with 300-500k km's on them. They're Easily tuned & lots of Remaps available for them. Very cheap to tune up if your good with your hands. I'm all about weight saving so I'd choose the astra g but there's not much 3 door diesel ones here, in U.K. The 1.7's are mostly 5 door here. Super good on fuel even once tuned up!👍
Loving your setup mate looks the bollocks. How have you done the evrymod. I have been looking at wiring diagrams for ages trying to figure it out. Easier on a TDS lol
Cheers pal👍 its super easy, you tap into the fuel temperature circuit. Its the far left(grey plug on dti) (green on di) ontop of the fuel pump( directly under map sensor (. I have a 1k potentiometer with on/off switch wired to it.Just noticed your vids astravans ftw✌️️
It's an old pc stereo volume controller lol ( just a 1k potentiometer really) with on/off switch built in. Had it laying around haha . Wired it to the pump to see if evry mod would work .the vag 1.9tdi evry is setup iexactly same as what works on the our 1.7's & if you go too far it just puts eml on.
@@BOB-gu5qf sweet. So i hove ordered a potentiometer and a switch. So I just tap in to the wires and extend them into the cab. Does it matter what side the switch goes on.
