Hi Bob, just wondering: i havent delete my egr yet...but, can we just screw a bolt in that T shape in that 1 left hose conected to nothing? Like that little 2/3 cm hose? I dont want to take the T conector off. What change if i close that hose anyway even if i didnt delete the egr?? Thanks.
Good job, but there's the ecu on the engine to relocate. Me, as I changed 3 of them, i just made an L shaped flange with two bolts on the side of the right shock absorber place (you will find two bolts flanged on the metal), then i drilled two holes in the flange and put the ecu. I also opened a 30-40cm of the original electric cords and cut two as they are not longer than 8cm and then goes directly from a sensor on the fuel pump to the edu plug. Then added a piece of electric cord to make these two cords longer

@@yellobelly420 get your turbo off the car and contrary to popular belief, lenghten the actuator rod, not shorten, as the turbo on the dti is vacuum actionated by the n75 valve. Be carefull though as of how far you lenghten the rod to. Mine is maxed out but i have a bleed valve so i don't blow straight 2 bar in the engine.

Hi. What exactly is the use of the restrictor/adaptor plate between the head and inlet manifold? It seems pretty dumb to me as I noticed that 4 of the 8 inlet ports are basically closed off. I tried researching it on the net but to no avail. If you perhaps know what it is for and possibly the reason for the closed off ports I would appreciate it sharing the info with me. Nice mod to the intake btw. Now I can get rid of the ugly egr setup thanx to your idea.
How did you prevent the engine from going into limp home mode when you increased the boost pressure? I have been told it's the ECU that controls the boost and if you increase it the engine just goes into limp mode.

What MAP file are you running. I have tried a few. I bought a 115bhp v2 map from Liam but it has really bad flat spots. The best one i have found so far is a generic stage 1 off ebay which i paid £2.50 for.
