I got the IronClaw wireless, I went from a semi clicking/double clicking M65 elite to this. The IronClaw is my first wireless mouse and I never want to go back to a wired mouse again. The IronClaw's ergonomic shape felt good in my hand as I was unboxing it and it still does, providing real comfortable gameplay. Would recommend to someone looking for a mouse.
i got a question for you, i play a lot of FPS games where i use those sidebuttons constant but arent they placed a little bit too high to reach constantly, i still use my deathadder from 2012 and those placement of sidebuttons are perfect.
@V2 CloudZ , the sidebuttons feel fine to me, they click more firmly than that of my deathadder elite, the only awkward button to press is that sniper button but I don't even use it. I play a lot of FPS too, so the shape, sensor, and 2.4 ghz helps.
Is your ironclaw still holding up well? Apparently a lot of people have had issues with the scroll wheel breaking after a few months of use, so I'm curious if yours is still working properly.
@@Zerpfizz I have the wired version. The scroll shaft is made of poor quality material. I don't use it to play games, but I do use it for browsing and it only lasted a month.
Just ordered the Ironclaw the other day - on christmas to follow my own other x-mas gifts as: LG CX / Corsair K63 Wireless with the Lapboard. Will be in gaming heaven 🎅💪🏽
If you're considering buying a Corsair Ironclaw here's some advice: I'm on my 3rd RMA with Corsair because the scroll wheel's axis that connects with the scroll encoder suddenly breaks within weeks of use. I'm not the only one, if you do a quick search you'll find more people on Corsair's own forums complaining about it. It seems it's a design flaw of the model and no matter how many RMAs you do you'll eventually end up with a broken scroll wheel.
it’s such a shame because i love the mouse but my scroll wheel just broke last night. is there any wireless mouse that’s really as big as the ironclaw? i have truly giant hands so that’s why i loved the ironclaw so much
I still find it difficult to decide. I'm not one to use a "sniper" clutch button cause of my specific motion settings, but they both have a lot of customization capabilities and seem really worth it in their own right. X( why is being a consumer so difficult
My Iron Claw was falling apart within days. The skin on the top and sides fell off. I was very disappointed with it. I have the Dark Core now and it seems a lot better.
I already buy 2 IronClaw and both have problems with scroll button (after 3 weeks of using and 2 day of using). I was force to send them back and buy a Dark Core. And yes, IronClow looks and feel better.
second claw scroll broke the other day, need to get another I love the Claw it fits my hand so damn well for a change, great button selection but jesus the scroll sucks. First one lasted 3 months this one lasted a month of scrolling its rediculous.
damn, i watch this review in the hopes they fixed this crap. I had my iron claw (wireless) for less than a week before i was gaming and looked down to find out my mouse wheel was up and leaning to the right. Had to send that bad boy back, was so disappointed.
Heya ever consider doing a video between ironclaw and the m65? At first i thought they wouldnt be comparable but the size and weight almost match up with just the m65 being better built but unfortunatly a diffrent grip as the ironclaw is longer. If only they would revise the ironclaw like they have with the other mice, id get that in a second. Also its kinda funny you mention the 24 hours thing as ive seen plenty of people get butthurt on mice reaching even 60 hour batteries since they still dont beat Logitech's old-school single use battery ones that last for months like dude your only going to use it at most 9 hours a day if that just plug the thing in once in awhile ☠
I just wanted to say I've now had 2 Ironclaws and both mouse wheels broke entirely, and it's not an uncommon problem, don't know about the Dark Core but I went back to logitech. Such a shame as the rest of th Ironclaw was great.
Dark Core's dpi button design is bad. Accidental clicks happen quite often and they are also quite difficult to find when needed. I had to fix them by gluing plastic pieces on them. Now I can feel their location in my finger.
I've never had a problem with this, granted my finger stays more middle of the button rather than the outside of the button, and I can always find them due to the texture difference between the DPI buttons and the M1 button, I however had a problem with accidentally clicking the profile switch button on the middle of the mouse just behind the scroll wheel.
Hey Provoked Prawn. Any feedback on the omron switches after extended use? I don't wanna splurge on another expensive mouse only to get double clicking issues after a year or so
For me my Ironclaw started double clicking only around 7 months after purchase. However, I click fairly hard on my mouse which could've contributed to the issue. But everything else about the mouse is great, it's honestly the most comfortable mouse I've ever held. It's a great option for people with large hands looking for a wireless mouse, but just be cautious about clicking hard on it
dont buy the ironclaw rgb wireless the mouse wheel axel breaks after a couple months of light use... bad desing flaw.. dono abouth the darkcore it might have different desing wheel . but not sure on it.. after 3 mice broke here in a year under warrenty . i gone back to a logitech g502
@@urtwietii Bro, I know. I love how comfortable it is, but sometimes my clicks dont register. Something is wrong with it. Just ordered Iron Claw, I hope it works out better.
Hi could do with some help please i'm looking for some recommendations for the best corsair wireless set-up & left handed mouse, i'm using the K55 & the Sabre for the last 2 years or so & i'd like to go wireless now. Great video's keep them coming :)
@@TheProvokedPrawn Oh yes please. I've been looking for info about it to no avail, in theory it should work but you never know for sure. Great comparison review btw!
i have the ironclaw wired but the scrollwheel doesnt work anymore i love the ironclaw but im considering of gettin the ironclaw wireless if the scrollwheel is better otherwhise i want to get a dark core or razer bassilisk (ultimate) or something else can anyone help i realy like the bigginess of the ironclaw but dont know if i should get it again
I have a rzer Bassilisk and the wheel has already started to fail. Just 6 month of use. Stay away from Razer. I'll get a Corsair mouse soon to try it out
I had a razer naga and it's M1 button broke 2 months after I bought it, I also had a razer huntsman keyboard that broke two months after buying it, stay away from Razer it's just a wannabe gamer brand.
I think it is that this person thinks that the mouse needs to use the charging pad in order to use the mouse wirelessly. If this is the case, then this person is right,... the mouse isnt truly a wireless mouse; the mouse must stay on the pad, which has the cable that connects to the computer. But I don't think it works like that. I don't own that particular mouse. But I'm sure that it does work wirelessly, just as other wireless mouse work. My wireless mouse will work on pretty much any surface, without the use of a mouse pad at all, as long as the laser, can sense the surface that it's on. Hope that this helps someone. Love all Ya'll! As always, that is imo. Simply me. God first!!! God bless!!! Love One Another, As Christ Jesus Love Us!!!
@@Michaud12 Aww that sucks. I'm probably going with the harpoon myself or something around that price range. I don't mind spending the $$, but a lot of these "premium" mice seem to have one problem or another.
I hate my Dark Core. The button placement is absolutely terrible for one, the wireless charging only works in a tiny happy spot and sometimes does not charge at all, the bluetooth is garbage so you might as well carry the dangle with you everywhere, the battery life is trash as well. I get one days worth of gaming if I have the response rate maxed and lights on low. I suppose you could get 24 hours if you had it on the lowest response rate, no lights and power save mode. It uses a Micro-USB connector instead of USB-C. But yah, most of all this mouse is NOT ergonomic. I don't use half of it's buttons because you need to reorient your entire hand to reach the forward buttons and then reorient again to reach the back buttons. DO NOT BUY THE DARK CORE.
I just bought ironclaw but it is a disappoinment. It can not make macros for its onboard memory. actually its pc software icue can only record a few keyboard buttons as a macro for onboard memory. This is not macro! I can't imagine a macro setting without mouse events. If you can I have another bad news for you: If you want to use onboard memory on PS4 it is impossible. because the macro that contains keyboard buttons does not work in PS4! Shortly you can assume that THIS MOUSE LACKS OF ONBOARD MEMORY! And this makes it the same with a cheap mouse.
