What happens if we take an already good fan, make it slightly more aggressive, and make it 30mm thick? One of the best Noise-to-Performance ratios we have seen so far! Let's check out the Corsair RS120 Max, an incredibly capable 120mm fan!

I love it when a fans name have "max" in it. Imagine if there's a thing call "phanteks t30 max😮"

5:38 P12 Max still does it better, with more headroom, while being cheaper, and all that with the standard thickness. Arctic really nailed it with these. I'd really want to see what arctic could do with LCP.

thicc fans is a nice trend. I hope we will see 120x38mm and 140x38mm behemoths in the future.

Server fan manufacturers commonly use those sizes, Sanyo Denki for example with the 120RA38 and 140RA38. My pc is cooled by three 120RA25s and one 120RA38 and they aren't even audible at low speeds (with a few modifications to be fair) and yet can do fun stuff as they can reach 4500rpm and 4700rpm respectively

Hi STS, really enjoying your noise test section in the video. please continue doing it for fan reviews! Keep it up as always

I interpreted "maximum noise to performance" to be decibels per watt. But this is more of a minimum decibels per watt, or maximum watts per decibel fan. Anyway, it comes clear in watching the video.

More like maximum performance to noise

I don't know why anyone would buy these when the t30's are superior on every front, whilst also being a bit cheaper... At $20 a fan i could see these being a solid pick (based on your data)

Please do a review on TL-B12 Extrem LCP, they are cheap and productive, it should be top for your money

Motherboards have ramp up and down delay settings in the bios. I have the RX120s and I agree, Corsair needs to put ramp up and down delays in the next ICUE update

Corsair has two Icue ecosystems. These are fully supported by their older ecosystem using a commander core that comes with a lot of their AIO’s. You can of course just plug them into a motherboard, but it’s not that crazy for Corsair to still continue to support one of its own ecosystems and computers in general.

Hey, I bought a pair of those Silverstone fans for my Noctua NH-U14S CPU heatsink. They are better than the Noctua 140mm fans I was using before, even at the same RPM. They are cooler by about 5 degrees Celsius. They move a ton of air, I was actually amazed. 38mm fans are crazy. They move more air than 120mm 3,000 RPM fans, I think. But the FHP141 is not quiet, it uses a dual-ball-bearing, so the motor makes a high-pitched whining sound at 1,000 RPM and higher. Which might be expected of such an old model of fan, especially one so big and capable of high RPM. They are great fans, I like them very much!

what radiator you are using, what 120x80mm 10fpi means? can we see tests with normal PC AIO like arctic freezer 3 360?

nah, for that price a12x25, silent wing 4 pro or even t30 are far better choise imo

Ye i don't really see the point of them either you could throw in the p12 Max Fans aswell, that perform slightly better with more Headroom and standard Size, while you get 5 Fans for like 30 Bucks. As of now i have the feeling Corsair cooling products are inferior most of the times, while being extremely expensive. Sure there ICUE Ecosystem is pretty and all and good but, for a bit nicer bling bling you pay in price and performance.

3:25 thats kind of disappointing? It's like they didn't make a use of these additional 5 mm at all
