Corsica is an island with a turbulent and fascinating past. Most famous as Napoléon Bonaparte's birthplace, its strategic position has meant invasion and resistance have been recurring themes in the island's history.
I first went to Corsica in 2004, and have been back another 7 times, all cycling holidays. Have biked some of those roads, in your excellent video. Am going back again in May 2023.

Someone I'm friends with is doing a Road trip from South Africa to Angola, that's basically the whole of Southern Africa. Makes me realise what a tiny place I occupy in the world. And it is travel documentaries like yours that make me want to travel more🇿🇦

As a part German, i've yet to visit Germany, but i'll definitely fly there some day in the near future. If you guys ever create a German travel video, i'll certainly be watching! I'm not sure if you guys have ventured to beautiful Portugal & the Azores, but if you haven't, may i suggest that you do some day. The Azores, is an incredible & stunning island archipelago! I'm a new subscriber guys & i wish to say, just how much my family & i enjoy all your videos! We have thus far watched many & all have been so interesting, wonderful, beautiful & entertaining. Corsica is incredibly beautiful & i truly believe is still very underrated, because many have never ventured there. We visited the island many years ago & to this day, it's unique beauty still remains within my/our memory. We're actually planning another trip back some day, plus we love Sardinia, Sicily, Capri & pretty much, all of the stunning Mediterranean islands & general region, not to mention, the friendly/beautiful peoples, the amazing history, architecture, culture, food & weather! The dog, it's so very adorable & friendly! It appeared to enjoy your company. A sweet animal & i sure hope it found it's way back home. Thanks for sharing & happy travels!
MESMERISING NATURE 🙏 the Porsches , Ferraris and Mafia are the only downsides of Corsica. Pretty severe though. Such ashame because it's truly a breathtaking island

Lucas, since you mentioned Anna's chronic hip-pain, I felt moved to offer the benefit of a little of what I have learned over the past 3 decades about health and nutrition. Joint-pains almost always have a dietary factor. So it is important to avoid sources of acidity and to focus on what creates healthy alkaline balance in the body: e.g., avoid fried foods, meats, dairy products, canned stuff, added salt, added sugar, manufactured drinks, and anything with wheat or processed flour. Emphasise fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, raw seeds and nuts (excellent nutrition for long hikes and outdoor activities), salads, and the milder whole grains. A few simple changes in habits can reduce extra bodyfat, fluid-retention, and accumulated inflammation, acidity, and pollution in the body.
Hi Brent, thank you for your insightful input! I should probably specify that Anna’s pain is caused by a misaligned hip joint, so chronic hip pain is a bit of a wrong terminology on my part. The hip joint could only be fixed with surgery, something that isn’t usually done so early in life. Saying all that, you are absolutely right about the dietary factor. Living more healthily will undoubtedly reduce the strain on the hip :)

yet another video where we all wished that it would never end. the aerial views from your drones heavenly. everything about your documentaries is perfect. i just wish you could extend your stays, or increase the footage because 1hour isn't enough, i always keep longing for more. another request is that could you make videos about how you plan your trips, how much do they cost, all the logistics, language barriers you have to face, etc, etc? it would be great
