Adam Morrison talks to Garbage's Butch Vig and Shirley Manson about what brought the band back together, the music on their new album, Not Your Kind of People, and more.
In standing terms, because of the amount of music that is downloaded from different artists, depending on the listener and the individual who choses to hear an album in it's entirety, or either listen to an assortment of mix artists, music has become more accepted as a singles consumption, which is pretty sad, I sometimes wish people had a physical copy of a record, they'd have to listen to that from start to finish.
They definitely had unfinished business. The music business screwed everything up for every great band when they decided to change mainstream music to goth punk and cheesey pop “music” the mid 2000’s was officially the death of the 90’s music has never been the same as far as new bands and it’s at an all time low now. People don’t even play music anymore it’s all pop trash with lame sounds. So glad this band came back and said F U we’re doing our thing again and they never sold out to get back on the mainstream
this is the worst interview ever. If I were Garbage I would walk away. This guy sounds stoned as hell and It looks likes his eyes are closed most of the time.
