C5 is best modern corvette because it was so revolutionary that c6 and the c7 are the updated version of it. It wasn't until the C8 where it got a entirely new platform. So basically C6 and C7 share the spot light with the C5
Unfortunately changing a low production vehicle. If theres only so many, kinda unfortunate to change (ruin in some cases) a stock car. HOWEVER, builds like that can end up awesome and be highly desirable as long as they don’t go insane with the mods 😂
@@mattschubert590 I hear what you’re saying, but not a lot of people have anything stock these days whether it be a Subaru or a Lamborghini lol. If I ever own a ZR1 it most definitely won’t stay stock but I wouldn’t make it too crazy either simply because like you said, it could ruin the value.
The man has no clue what he is doing by sending it somewhere to get built. Unless he send it to LPE where they polish and tune the car to peak performance while keeping it stock. But judging by the driver in general he doesn’t have a clue!
And the C8 doesn’t even look bad. So that’s really saying something… I personally think the C6 is timeless. The C7 is nice too but the nostalgia of the C6 is better
1000 times better looking then a c8? Your a true idiot if you think a c6 even comes close to the looks of a c8. The best looking corvettes are c2, c7 and c8 on the top. C6 doesn't even come close to those 3. Also this video is about a c6 nothing about a c8 so we all know it's cause you can't afford a c8 and stuck on high payments on a outdated c6 that you brought your hurt feeling with that stupid comment
Such a gorgeous car. I've always been fond of Corvettes ever since my Dad owned a 85 (I believe). He owned his own paint business and he was a perfectionist and he decided to take it apart and paint it. He came up with his own color which was a gold-ish with some metal flake in it. It was gorgeous.

Why would you spend all that money on a ZR1, that looks exactly like the ZO6 and Grand Sport, and then spend even more money building it? That makes zero sense. You could buy a 4LT Grand Sport, for less than half the cost of a ZR1, and then build that and end up with the exact same car for probably half the cost, with the exact same engine.
He’s actually telling the truth they only did make about 400 of that color scheme ZR1 with all of the good options and the manual in America for that year.
This guy is the most annoying owner telling you how many miles how many were made how special it is just say thanks and let me ask you for all the other stuff
