I just replaced the manual transmission unit on a 2017 stingray for the first time. I was a journey but its moving along. The gear oil cooler and separate traction control system was interesting surprise.
Hey I am Leo messaging from Guam. I noticed you have Guam flag on the wall. Right now I am working on my 2000 Corvette LS1 replacing the slave cylinder. Awesome video you have.
Walmart is the best for oil I agree, Pennzoil synthetic 5w30 and Rotella t6 5w40 are my go to oils there. Too bad they don't sell Wix oil filters, at least not yet.
it's a battle If there is a stock clutch in there. put a jack under the oil pan and adjust the motor height. should get you the proper amount of room. will go together alot easier with a twin disc
@@southfloridagearheads6504Thank you sir. We got her but what a battle it was lol. We're buttoning it up now. How has your rxt held up? That's what I put in mine.
@@southfloridagearheads6504 yea got those out. inside the torque tube/bell housing where the slave cylinder is, does that input shaft just cone right out? i think all im missing is the shifter inside and everything should be ready to pull out
The ESP formula was developed to help protect the newer vehicles emission systems and support direct injection engines which is only on the c7 generation and newer.. So what you stated doesn't even apply to this generation of vehicles.
I'm needing a clutch very soon. How do you like this clutch...drivability? I'm looking for something more for the street with occasional drag. 700whp is hurting my stock clutch, lol
It's a great clutch, drivability is good. It holds up to heat great also so no issues launching the car. What power adder are you running to get at 700whp?
@@southfloridagearheads6504thats good to know, ill be doing the job soon and posting a video. 100hp wet shot. Going to the track this weekend, clutch dont fail me now!
