Finally. The Glen was a heartbreaker but it couldn't be more fitting to win their 1st race in the Chevrolet Grand Prix. Unfortunately didn't go their way in GTD but 1-2 in GTD Pro is fantastic. Still blows that GTP doesn't race at Mospprt anymore.

Yes Corvette certainly deserved this 1-2, they were great all weekend! Hopefully the GTP's will return but I think the LMP2's put on a fine race!

Very nice video. Hopefully next year they can bring the GTP race to Canada and have less support races. Maybe in the far future include Mexico also. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.

Yeah the issue wasn't the support series that were present it's that the pit lane isn't large enough to hold all 4 weathertech classes! Hopefully in the future GTP's will return!

Great to see some IMSA dedicated coverage content! As a local, the Chevrolet Grand Prix at CTMP is a yearly event for me after having gone for the first time last year. Can't believe I paid to watch Corvette win *again* at CTMP, but jokes aside it was another really great show, if not very tiring running around the track and getting pretty pictures. Still disappointed that there were no GTP Hypercars this year, but here's to hoping they make a return next year. Great video, subbed for more :).

They announced at the start of the season that this was going to be a limited schedule and not a full season one. I think with the strong opening rounds they decided to add some more races onto their schedule toi contend for the championship. They have fell out of the running for the GTD championship (well everyone has because of Winward haha) but I suspect they will just do selected rounds from here on out! The team never formally announced anything that I saw but this is what I suspect

We managed to talk to a spotter for them at Watkins and he said it was a race by race decision and it depended on how they were doing in the championship.

I enjoyed the race. There were a few big crashes and penalties handing out, but they were in class all incidence. It seems like any time the GTP class racing, there are huge crashes involving GTP and the other classes, mostly the GTD class.

Yeah there are a few incidents involving GTP's that come to mind but honestly the LMP2 ones stick out more for me haha

The first year of a new program can be tough but look at what AO is doing in year 2 in GTD PRO! They'll get it figured out I'm sure!
