I go over installing Parking Brake Cables on a 1990 C4 Corvette. If You Want To Subscribe / @e.t.garage Instagram / eugenetuorto My YT Channel / mretuorto Twitter / eugenetuorto
You can try pressing hard on the brake pedal while pressing the button on the hand brake lever and pulling up hard then lowering the lever, if you have the owners manual refer to how to operate it, I believe they changed the design at some point in the C4 Corvette run which is why I am referring you to the owners manual.
@@E.T.GARAGE it’s a 1992 corvette I will definitely try this. Hand brake is super stiff like it won’t go all the way up but don’t wanna force it and break something
Man having the same issue with my c4 but this one seems a bit out of my league with all the cable cutting and drilling, was going good until I saw that big seized nut lol Do you happen to know where I can get that digital version of the 1990 service manual? Ive seen physical copies out there but I too would prefer a digital copy. Love the channel!
assuming you are talking about the parking brake handle assembly, if so there should be a cable attached to it, it runs under the car and hooks up to the left a nd right cables that go to each wheel. Here is a link to a diagram www.keenparts.com/CorvettePartsDiagrams.php?diagram=50038&year=1990
@@E.T.GARAGE In your video when you disconnect it from the handle part, I don’t really see that on mine or where my cable would go. My cable was already disconnected when I took it apart so I don’t really know where it’s supposed to go.
@@dustinharstad8251 Go to 4:29 in this video and pause you will see a diagram that clearly shows where the cable goes through and down under the car. If it's not there I am not sure what to tell you.
