In this video Tim for the first time reacts to a track from the Revival Live streams by Cory Henry. And he gets totally blown away, to say the least... Link to the original video: / cbjvpbea3zw
his tribute to melvin crispell is still far and away my favorite never seen more feel put into a piece. His feel and talent are limitless. Good luck hes got a lot of spellbinding/discouraging pieces. Just too good.
@@markrodrigue6913 Thanks friend so glad you enjoy that too I have watched it 1000 times lol :) Everyone should give it a listen its honestly a treat and privilege. Just singing through that instrument
@@ryanphelan6861 looks like most people have watched it at least 10 times..no wonder it got so many views..but there are not many organist that can go wherever he wants ,when he wants, and play according to how he feels..he TRULY..and mean TRULY makes that organ talk..and some organist probably quit... I'm listening right now to another one of his.."He Keeps on doing great things for me".. Corey Henry on Organ
@@markrodrigue6913 perfect point , and this video is smoking 🚬, he expressed himself without limitations through his instrument. Everyone's goal he does it in spades the bass line he plays on "na na na na" ,in duet drummer has tambourine, sounds like bootsy Collins lol filthy nasty , then towards end a chord progression so fast his face twitches lol it's filthy. So expressive with filthy feel. Totally agree when child prodigies fall in love with their gift you get Cory.
That clap stack makes the whole groove. But Cory is great with soloing over time meters with respect to knowing when to move. That’s what’s so essential with his left hand chords to keep it moving under the solo. Not too mention he has been killing organs since the young age of 4 for major crowds!
his playing makes no sense at all i quit piano and to the glory of God t think i have a new call as an usher....that's not human at all ......more grace cory
