Hey, man, it's Cory McCloskey, he's done some pretty crazy stuff over the course of his career as a news guy, like, weatherman, with the 1000 degree temperature mishap.
@@carstarsarstenstesenn well it's definitely not his sousaphone so he has no real reason to care honestly also the guy correcting the word "tuba" is a prick. It's not wrong to call it a tuba.
@@radioactium I have zero music experience, but it might be in the same family and not a type of tuba like i had thought before. I'm just going off of a single quick google search so i have no clue I think marching band members get really pissed off when you call a sousaphone a tuba though
@@cheejo3222I’m not sure about that. The guy next to her (also playing a baritone) was playing a long legato line - he’s the sound you can actually hear. The girl was just faking until she blasted those two notes for whatever reason. Still funny 😂
I 100% agree with you! I laughed so hard at the static too! (That's a sentence I never thought I'd say, lol.) Edit: The sentence I never thought I'd say was the one where I said I laughed at static.
the one part that made me laugh for 15 minutes straight (no joke) was when all you hear was "BRR BRR BRR BRR BRR BRR BRR BRR" HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. my lungs hurt.
RT eh not exactly. A sousaphone is a marching tuba. A concert tuba is a tuba for sitting down with. A tuba is an instrument while a sousaphone or a contra are variations of that instrument
I'm looking forward to hearing a fresh voice on this game. I hope you'll be able to acknowledge all the good fun stuff like super ball jumping and not just down on it the whole time, though there is a lot of fun to be had there I'll admit.
I love the tuba especially if da (throws mic into tuba on purpose). did I kill it food I kill that annoying mic!? yes oh no but I have to get it outta that tuba to see if I really killed it nooooo! it's still works! shew away cameraman shew now!
I searched up the full version to this video to see what happened to the microphone afterwards assuming it broke, only to find out it was completely unscathed.
It can be called a tuba or sousaphone. It’s the same thing. It’s just a more specific name. For example, there’s contra tubas, concert tubas, orchestra tubas, and like the one in this video, a sousaphone. They are all still considered tubas even though they may look different than each other.
That song they are playing is the same song they play at every school assembly I have. Ours has lyrics that include our mascot. I wonder if all schools play the same song.
Well technically, he isn't wrong. The sousaphone is a variation of a tuba, but its still a different thing. You can't march with a regular tuba, the sousaphone is a marching tuba. But i fully understand what you mean! I play percussion so i can't really talk about an instrument i don't play-
Euphoniums are actually different though. They just play in the same range. The way the bell increases in diameter determines whether it is baritone or euphonium. Of course, they play interchangeable parts.
