No kidding. I only found him about a month ago. He's been part of my daily routine ever since. I don't think I'm 10% through his content. I hope I never finish. Even though many are different versions of the same songs, they're each a little different. He is also my "go to" Pandora channel.
SPOILER ALERT : 4:31 - 7:00 He tells the band how many hits to play through the story adressed to the public ("4 weeks", "6 hundred", "12 people", and so on). Seems obvious when you know it, but it blew my mind when I realized it. Thank you Cory Wong for being yourself!

I bought 4 tickets to this show way back thinking I would be in town and ended up being busy, gave the tix to my mom she brought her friends(all 50s and 60s) they said it was the funnest they'd all had in yrs lol. Also.. pretty awesome y'all resurrected the fine line for this Cory I love it!!
I used to think Vulfpeck with Cory was currently the best band on the planet and then I saw this. I still love me some Vulfpeck but I have to say, I'm digging this band even more right now. This band is fire and Cory is lighter fluid fanning the flames. This is the most amazing lo-fi 4th position funk I've ever heard.
Yeah, Vulfpeck has such a solid pocket and I love them. But this shit has so much energy and is just dirt nasty. Hopefully I get a chance to see them once things open back up, because this seems like a killer show.

My mom and I loved this Minneapolis show from start to finish. We always listen to and appreciate you on Jazz 88.5 FM, Twin Cities Jazz radio station. On Thursdays from 9pm-11pm, they always feature you on the Funktion. 😊 We're still in awe from this concert! Pure funk and talent. Thanks Cory!

One thing i love the most in this band, is they give a spot for everyone. It shows how strong their bond is. That's why they can express truly the joy and happiness thru music.
Please point me to a better rhythm guitar solo in the last decade than the 145 seconds of greatness starting 50:28 in "Frogville" (the live album also names it "Airplane Mode"). 🎸♥️👂So so so good! The song starts at 48:04 and the "Let's show them we went to music school" 😆 precedes the solo.
27:15 - That "Late Night" intro followed by the guitar solo is amazing - you can immediately imagine Cory walking onto a stage in a suit ready to do a monologue and introduce tonight's guests...
Cory and Kevin make me proud to be Minnesotan. Kevin is such a beast, go check him out and make him famous too. His bands Nooky Jones and New Sound Underground are sinfully underground and unknown.
Well, your comment is 2 years old at this point so maybe you were right but what stuck out to me was that Cory is so busy with all his various projects that unless there's more than one of him, the Vulf is not always gonna be able to get him.

Bleh, I hate that I missed seeing him in Columbus, but I'm oh, so thankful for this video!!! Cory is genius. I look forward to seeing him in May with Vulfpeck 😊😊😊
Went to see Cory yesterday at Paradiso, Amsterdam, and we had a blast! What a performance! The energy emenating from the band was very infectious - can't wait to see them more often!
